Backyardigans Fan,

Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Secret Agents (Backyardigans (8x8)) (Paperback)
We bought this when we could not find a single Backyardigans book in out Library, not one title. My five-year-old son wants to read it every night. It is a nice adaptation of our favorite series, bright and simple illustrations, our favorite characters, and as always, a great adventure. I like the price, too, a very affordable book.

If your child loves the Backyardigans, they will also love reading the books that go along with the TV episodes. GREAT BOOKS!

As I've said with the other BackYardigan books, I don't particularly like the story lines but who asks me? I'm just the reader. My daughter just likes these stories so much.

A great purchase,

My daughter loves the Backyardigans and was so excited when I bought this book for her. I'm a little afraid the pages are going to be worn out from how much she reads it, but that's a good thing!

Secret Agents on a Secret Mission,
By George Buttner "Agent0042" (Dayton, Ohio United States) - See all my reviews (VINE VOICE) (REAL NAME)
This review is from: Secret Agents (Backyardigans (8x8)) (Paperback)
"Secret Agents" is a fun adaptation of one of the best episodes of the still fairly-new hit Nick Jr. show, "The Backyardigans." This story features three of the Backyardigans --- Tyrone, Pablo and Uniqua as they pretend to be secret agents and restore a dinosaur bone to a museum. Each one of them has a special spy-gadget to help them --- but they'll still have to use their wits to make their way.
The story transfers reasonably well for a book format. The story still has a decent amount of humor and intrigue to keep it interesting and it's written in a way that will be understandable to its target audience. The illustrations are brightly colored and full-page on most pages. |
