Such a fantastic research book. Book is on the nature of Christ's death. Book is spiritual as well as very exciting. There are 3 chapters inside this book; Crucifix in Religion, Historical Origin of Cross and Crucifix in Christianity, and The Non-Biblical Icons (The Secret of Crucifix). All chapters are excellent to read. Book is describing on Jesus. Inside this book many photos available which showed attractive. I read this book and I enjoyed it very much. I highly recommend the book to all my readers.

The Secret Behind the Cross and Crucifix,
This review is from: The Secret Behind the Cross and Crucifix (Hardcover)
Many people today view the cross as a religious symbol that represents the crucifixion (pain, suffering, and death) of Jesus. Nwaocha Ogechukwu's "The Secret Behind the Cross and Crucifix," explains how the cross has been misrepresented. This book explains how the cross was initially used in satanic practices before the Christian Era and it also defines and describes the many different types of crosses. This book also explains the role the cross has played in paganism and idolatry. There is no doubt that Jesus was crucified, but for those who have a question about the cross and the crucifixion, "The Secret Behind the Cross and Crucifix," is a must read!

When I first began to read this very well presented book, I felt like the subject was somewhat meaningless to me. That is not because of a lack of faith in God, on my part, but because the actual wooden cross means nothing to me except for what Jesus Christ's death on the that execution tool accomplished, the open door to peace with God through the shedding of his blood as a sacrifice for sin. For me, the symbolism of the cross is meaningless and it is only the fact that Christ was removed from the cross and rose from the dead is what I emphasize. I view the cross as nothing more than an ancient electric chair or lethal injection. I have not seen anyone wearing an electric chair around their neck or with a hypodermic needle dangling from a chain. That is why I really ended up enjoying 'The Secret Behind the Cross and Crucifix by Nwaocha Ogechukwu' The writer clearly showed that the cross as a symbol did not originate from the day of Christ's death and Nwaocha Ogechukwu was right too. The cross was the form of execution that was reserved for non-Roman criminals and could possible the most brutal form of execution ever created to kill people "legally." The author pointed out the cross typified the devil before it represented Christianity. This is precisely because the only reason Christ died on the cross and not some other form of death was because it was prophesied hundreds of years before Christ's death and resurrection that his hands and feet would be pierced. I think Author Nwaocha Ogechukwu did a great job of showing the difference between tradition and the actual right place for the cross. This book is very well written, excellently thought through and wonderfully illustrated as well. As I read, I thought several times that this writer had done a lot of research and defended his premise very well indeed. Therefore, I highly recommend that you read 'The Secret Behind the Cross and Crucifix by Nwaocha Ogechukwu because it shows with historical and intellectual honesty that it is not the traditions or relic of years gone by that should give us faith. I felt that this book showed that faith must be rooted in something greater than man's ways of understanding spiritual things without man-made items that historically prove our accuracy without spiritually holding onto physical items of faith that cannot save and cannot hear. This is a book that showed me that it is not the religious that gives a believer hope, but a physical relationship with God that can give us peace. You should buy this book today!
