a bit dated, but some good stuff,

This book is a bit dated in 2009; many of the restaurants and finds have either gotten popular and well-known, or gone out of business. But it's a wonderful resource to explore Boston's nooks and crannies, and a jumping off place for many adventures. I highly recommend it, and always use it to think of suggestions when friends come to town for a visit.
