I have just finished this book. It was a real page turner!! Not quite sure what to make of the code itself as he writes more about this in the appendix at the end of the story. The book itself was great...encouraged me to "step out on a limb" for Christ. I believe that this book has acted as a stepping stone in my own personal growth. All of Paul Meiers books have been excellent. I think the key passage in the entire book also rolls up Christianity in the one sentence saying..."To follow Christ is to die." This is not rocket science, just simple acts of faith. In his books, he encourages the believer to carry on. The be the good and faithful servant! Great book!

This book has dates, names, and events found in The Torah only recently found with computers. These possible outcome for the earth blow your socks off. I am dying to hear more of what is discovered in the sequl comming out!

This book has a good premise -- the idea of a secret code in the Bible is intriguing, but there wasn't enough detail to convince me that one exists or that it says what they say it does. I just finished the Left Behind series to date and wanted more meaty details. I wanted to SEE how the Hebrew text is converted into the prophetic messages they claim! Like the way Michael Crichton uses graphics and symbols.... Nevertheless, how exciting it is if the Bible does contain additional messages about the end times! (There is also a very interesting interpretation of Genesis 5. I checked out the meaning of the names myself and was very impressed.) In addition, I think the focus of the book was off. The bombing of Jerusalem, rather than just leaving the city, should have been the crux of the story, with detail on what happens afterward. It seems to me that, in trying to develop a SERIES of books that will sell, they didn't give enough substance to this book. I guess I'm used to a faster pace. As for characters, they are likeable enough. Lots of people with lots of different stories about how they came to believe. Frequent flashbacks help fill the reader in on background. I was somewhat put off by the use of an autistic character to break the code; I think we should stop stereotyping people with this incredibly debilitating disorder. It was enjoyable as fiction, but not to much concrete evidence. I have faith certainly, but if you want me to believe in the code, I need more. I'll read the next one, but I hope it gets more convincing.

Sneaking through customs, deciphering Bible Codes, trying to warn authorities, avoiding capture, on the run from various factions. Can they make a difference in God's Prophetic Time Clock? There is barely time to assimilate all the Bible data as you run with the characters from one scene to the next.

Where is the sequel? What happens next? This was great! If you like the Left Behind Series, or Grant Jeffery & Angela Hunt's "By Dawns Early Light," don't miss this Thriller!!

I've read dozens of end times novels and to me this one seems juvenile and very predictable. It portrays the Israeli Defense Force as villans and idiots. Try James Beauseigneur or Grant Jeffrey for thier excellent prophetic novels.

This war in the Middle East may be the trigger to the events that could happen on August 3, 2006!!

The book was entertaining. I am sure everyone who read it made note of the date of the nuclear explosion, August 3, 2006. Well it is July 5, 2006 now and I will be anxiously awaiting what may or may not happen on August 3.
