Have you read all the books, listened to all the audios, been to all the seminars... and still don't have the success that you want?

This book has the answer. No, really.

That's a pretty tall promise for a success program. And if you're the guy or gal who has read all the books, listened to all the audios, and been to all the seminars, you've undoubtedly been made that promise over and over again.

This book is different. No, really.

Let me give you a few examples of what I'm talking about.

We all know (if I may give a shout-out to Earl Nightingale here) "we become what we think about," "thoughts become things" and, according to certain movies I could name, if you think about a shiny new bicycle REALLY HARD and for long enough, it'll just appear in your garage like magic.

The problem is, we don't have as much control over our thoughts as we think we do. 90% of our thinking is on autopilot, buried deep in our subconscious minds. Most of it doesn't serve us as we try to make a change in our lives.

Nobody really talks about this, because, you know, changing your subconscious takes quite a bit of conscious attention (and yes, WORK). But there's no getting around it: unless you clear out "the head trash," you'll be stuck forever. Noah can teach you how to clear out the head trash.

Another one: Have you ever been told, "Just believe in yourself!"? There's just one problem: we DON'T believe in ourselves (see head trash, above). That's why you must, must, MUST find someone who believes in you more than you do. This is not optional.

This one really hit me hard because I've seen it in my own life. I've been blessed with incredible friends and family for my entire life. But it wasn't until my husband came along and held that place of believing in me - EVERY DAY, ALL DAY LONG - that my subconscious finally started to "get it"... and my life is shifting dramatically.

Thanks to my Loving Mirror (as Noah calls 'em), I am living my life purpose every day, the kind of massive success I want is starting to come, and I'm consciously planting seeds for more success over the next couple of years, and beyond. I know without a doubt that I would STILL be turning my wheels without that kind of Loving Mirror support that my husband provides.

That's why I know what Noah says is true: if you don't have a Loving Mirror, you have to get one. Luckily, he shows you how to find a Loving Mirror and set up the systems of support you need in every area of your life.

Another one: "Setting your goals" is all fine and good, but what if they're someone ELSE'S goals? Noah shows you how to get back in touch with what you really want - removing a huge block you probably didn't even know you had.

You can see why this book is worth your money, and more importantly, worth your time. But I haven't even mentioned the crown jewel yet...

Noah's system of Afformations is simply brilliant. (Note: I do NOT use the word "brilliant" lightly, but there's no other word for it.) Afformation questions get your mind working FOR you, not against you, in the most simple, elegant, effortless way. For that tool alone, I hope he becomes a billionaire.

A longtime practitioner of inner work and self-development, I have, in fact, heard some of these concepts before. But never so elegant and accessible as this. That's why I will be recommending The Secret Code Of Success to all of my clients, students, and writing colleagues going forward. Thank you, Noah!

the first part of this book which concerns itself with "afformations" is just brilliant. the author has stumbled upon a wonderful technique to bypass our sabotaging minds. this is available online for free. it's simple & it works.

for instance, ask yourself: why am i so happy?
you'll be pleasantly surprised.the questions are applicable to every aspect of your life: why is it so easy for me to lose weight? why am i so calm?

i had read about these why questions elsewhere & was happily using them when i bought the book.turns out i need not have bothered.

the remainder of the book seems like filler. it's the tired old how-you-can-be-a-dazzling-success by following various complicated steps & of course, working really really hard. the reader will forget these cliched "motivational"instructions almost immediately.they also seem almost offensive in these greed-wracked times.

but those "afformations"--they rock.

3.0 out of 5 stars More of the same with a twist, April 29, 2010
This review is from: The Secret Code of Success: 7 Hidden Steps to More Wealth and Happiness (Hardcover)
This book claims that it is different from other self-help books. It begins by bemoaning the fact that Americans spend billions of dollars on self-help products every year without getting any place... but it ends by offering to sell you self-help products costing a lot of money--including a free weekend seminar normally going for almost $3000!

(Some of the products mentioned say they'll double your income in 90 days while you work less. I'm a school teacher on a fixed salary. How the heck is that possible for me? That's why I suspect this book and others of its ilk are clearly designed for the business/real estate crowd, and others who already have plenty of money and who want more.)

The book takes traditional self-help philosophy and gives it a somewhat different spin, which could be helpful to some people; the "afformations" are a great insight. But much of its advice--find out who you are, what your strengths are, what you like to do, etc., we've heard ever since we sat in the high school guidance counselor's office.

What I don't understand about this book is that it promises great breakthroughs and to reveal the secret code of success, but then when the book is done, we're offered other products to help us succeed. Why do we need to buy other things if this book already offers us the Secret Code of Success?

5.0 out of 5 stars Amazingly Easy to Implement, February 18, 2009

This review is from: The Secret Code of Success: 7 Hidden Steps to More Wealth and Happiness (Hardcover)
Noah's book has greatly reinforced an idea I have had a long time about how to access your subconscious. A while back I read a book called The Secret of the Ages written by Robert Collier and first published in 1926. The very first chapter is all about how the subconscious works and how you can access it. The problem is it's basis is in visualizing what you want and thinking about it enough that it gets imprinted on your subconscious.

With Noah's system you use your mind latent ability to process information in the background while you actively think about different things. For example, have you ever been talking to someone and tried to think of a person's name and it just wouldn't come to you. Then you forget about it, and suddenly about an hour later the name pops into your head. That is how Afformations work. You ask the question, which immediately sets your subconscious mind to work and you keep working towards your conscious goals and tasks.

Obviously his book covers much more than just that, but for me it is one of the most powerful things I have learned from Noah.

5.0 out of 5 stars WOW!!!, February 17, 2009
This review is from: The Secret Code of Success: 7 Hidden Steps to More Wealth and Happiness (Hardcover)
This book is great! I, like so many, have spent years of my life and many thousands of dollars trying to understand the secret of success. I can not count the times I have heard from my wife how I need to put into practice the HOW TO's I have learned from all the study.

It is a great relief to realize I am not alone in this place of knowing what to do yet being unable to get it done.

Over the years I had come to the conclusion that Belief was the key that was holding me back but I still had not come to a clear understanding of how to permanently change those beliefs.

Noah's explanation of 'The Iceberg of Consciousness' and 'Afformations' has truly opened my eyes to how I have been attracting negative results into my life despite my conscious desire for more success in my life.

The single most disempowering question in my life before understanding the first four chapters of this book had been "What is my purpose?"

After reading the first four chapters of 'The Secret Code of Success' a couple of times I realized that I was answering this question in the negative and simply attracting more of what I didn't have, that being more confusion about my purpose for being.

I now ask myself "Why is it that I am fulfilling my purpose now?" Along with many other empowering questions that I ask myself daily I can see clearly the amazing difference this simple yet profound process is making in my life.

If you've gotten this far you owe it to yourself to get a copy of 'The Secret Code of Success' as soon as possible and find out for yourself just what it means to use Afformations.

5.0 out of 5 stars The book is better than hiring a cleaning crew for your head trash!, April 14, 2009

Frankly, I ordered the book as the price for the author's Bookinar when the book launched. I did not know Noah; however, someone I trusted recommended his process. I also felt that it was a tiny investment for four, one-hour teleseminars featuring the author. The book arrived a few days prior to his event, and I was not just pleasantly surprised, I was thrilled. Besides being a good read, it took a slightly different approach to the age-old challenge of clearing out head trash.

Rather than affirmations, Noah developed what he calls Afformations, which have proven so effective for me that I am now able to get more done in a shorter period of time. It may be the secret to finally changing my internal conversation about my personal success and worthiness.

As a student of personal development, I have read most every book out there . . . at least I've tried to read them. The majority leaves me cold, and despite my commitment to get through them, most are set aside after laboring through the first third of the book.

Noah's book is different. It is Noah's 3 degrees change in perspective, which makes the book unique. Noah's approach is brilliant in its simplicity. It will leave readers saying, "I can do this. Finally, I get it. I see how I can do it, right here, right now!"

I highly recommend Noah's book. He gives readers the real life tools they can use on a regular basis to increase productivity and do some internal spring-cleaning. It's almost better than hiring a cleaning crew. You supervise the work while the crew does the heavy lifting!

Thank you, Noah!

3.0 out of 5 stars Worth a read just for the "Afformations" idea. The rest has been done., May 15, 2010
This review is from: The Secret Code of Success: 7 Hidden Steps to More Wealth and Happiness (Hardcover)
First up, the idea of asking questions instead of affirmations is gold.. and the way the author explains it is simple and complete. The best part of the book is early on, regarding the use of "afformations". The price of the book is probably worth it just for these.

However, the rest of the "success code" is a pure re-hash of existing material already out there, and which the author states doesn't help anyone! Finding supportive people? Finding out what you like doing and why? Learning to say no? Take breaks during the day etc.. these pretty much standard ideas, but are dressed up as earth shattering discoveries.. along with constant pointers to take his courses, seminars, and visit his websites. Nothing wrong with this, but the extreme hype is a bit of a let down.

Worth a 30 minute read if you can find someone's copy.

5.0 out of 5 stars Secret Code of Success, February 2, 2009

This review is from: The Secret Code of Success: 7 Hidden Steps to More Wealth and Happiness (Hardcover)
Noah St John's Secret Code of Success is to the point and right on -- an easy read with quick results. I've been using Noah St. John's 7 step process for over 6 months and here are the results -- I doubled my income in a matter of weeks, then doubled it again. Using afformations, things continue to turn out better than I could imagine! In short, I feel recession proof thanks to Noah's proven simple method, even I could understand it! Plus, I lost weight applying the same principles during what I call the 'axis of evil'-- Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Years--a time when most Americans gain an average of 5 pounds. Even Oprah could use this book!!

It doesn't get much better than this ... only it does. My business continues to expand, my relationships improve and my energy for life is so rich I decided to try something I had never done before, stand-up comedy. After doing the suggested steps, my head trash has lifted.

If this book were a movie, I'd give it two thumbs up!!

5.0 out of 5 stars Probably the last self-help book you'll ever need...., March 13, 2009
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: The Secret Code of Success: 7 Hidden Steps to More Wealth and Happiness (Hardcover)
Perhaps I'm just an iconoclast, but one of the best things about this book is that Noah shows why the typical "self-help" advice, from affirmations to goal-setting, don't work. (They are, however, good for getting people to buy lots of "shelf help" as he terms it--information that stays on the shelf because it doesn't work, it's boring, or doesn't fit who you are.) Noah invented some clever but very useful terms that make sense, such as "afformations," questions based on what you want that force your brain to come up with the answers and create the reality you want because that's the way your brain works.

Another thing I like is that the book is systematic. There are seven steps that build on each other. And Noah does not promise either instant success or success without work. You have to DO what he says. He lives in the real world, where you have to take action in order to make things happen. (Seems obvious, but "Law of Attraction" advocates seem to suggest that all you have to do is desire and you will attract.)

The book is very clearly written with no fluff. (Though it's anything but dry. I love the conversations tone and humor. You really get a sense of his personality, in a good way.) It's easy to read because of the excellent interior design.

He also uses excellent analogies/illustrations to get his point across. For instance, the analogy that we can't directly perceive our own eye color apart from a mirror or someone else telling us is brilliant. He uses this to talk about the importance of "loving mirrors" but the idea that we can't really know who we truly are by "looking inside" again runs counter to a lot of popular "spiritual" and self-help advice, but rings true to real life and the crucial role of relationships to our success.

My husband and I are working on the book together, and I'm looking forward to it not only increasing our success, but improving our relationship. It's already deepening our communication. Also, I've been using afformations for a while and it's amazing what happens.

As an aside, the author in me was fascinated by how he allowed the reader to continue the relationship with him. (So fascinated that I interviewed him for one of my "great author promotions" teleseminars.) He also did a "bookinar" based on the book that allowed people to dig into the book and experience it in a different way--which is the way the world is heading.

Noah does what other self development guru's do not do. They get you all pumped up but the blocker's and challenge's that are holding you back will follow you untill hell freezes over. What Noah has done here is to take you step by step through your reason's why you stop 3 feet from gold and say this doesn't work when in reality you didn't catch how close to success you may have been. Follow these 7 step's, make them your own and join the other 3% of the successful people in the world who do these 7 step's naturally without knowing it because they unlike us where blessed with being unconciously competent at these 7 step's which is their reason for success. Follow these 7 step's until you become unconsciously competent and watch all that you desire in life become your reality.
