Something for somebody. Actually, for a bunch of somebodies. There is always a thrill to getting a clandestine edge in a game. Davis appeals to those gamers who believe this. (Which may be most of them.) He describes various techniques for several popular games, that give you unorthodox byways into their innards.Of course, for single player games, this is sometimes decried as equivalent to cheating at solitaire. But there's no gainsaying the sheer fun of it! |
