I wanted to like it.
I really did. Melchizedek is mentioned in the Gnostic Bible and the Dead Sea Scrolls, as well as the bible. If you want information, I suggest checking these sources. This book is really about 60 pages, most of which are quotes from other authors that Grumbine has decided are relevant. The book is a meandering argument, that doesn't have a point. He goes from contradicting himself, to a completely different point, without any transition or evidence to back himself up. He isn't a scholar, from any thing I know about him, and has no sources to back up his claims, besides names of other authors that may or may not have sources, and vauge quotes from the bible, that are repeated over and over. The book has no point. I feel that he just wanted to make money, the book is short, unsupported, and largely the work of other people. In any of the four chapters, yes four chapters, in this book, you can find on every to every other page, half a page of quoting of other unknown authors. Save time and money, buy the original texts, read them.

Fast service, but unuseful to a researcher. In my opinion a waste of money. Threw my copy out.
