I loved this video. I have watched it several times and have loaned it out to my sisters in Middle Eastern Dance and they loved it too. Even though the video was filmed in the early 90's and not of high quality, I still gave this video % stars because it was that great. The footage is that of the lower class egyptians. You will feel that you are watching a culture untouched by time, performing their daily living activities as they have for centries. Lot's of dance - folkloric type- and 2 scenes with a modern bellydancer. The last bellydancer is after the credits so stay tuned. You will see an exorcism dance, trance dance, dancing horses, men martial art stick dance, snake dancing (egyptian style, don't expect what you have seen in the states), plus lot's more. This is a good video for those dancers that want a glimpse into true Egyptian Folk dancing and Egyptian Folk life. Great I give this an A+ even though the film wasn't of high quality, the video was great. Great culture experience for those that study Egypt as well. Thanks, Kira.
