Very basic resource, not many details,

This book is a good companion to Secret of Evermore, but only if you want the most basic of walkthroughs. It is similar in style to Rusel DeMaria's Secret of Mana guide, in that it takes you through the game in a narrative format, never really pointing you toward specific goals (such as where is that alchemist with the Sting formula??). It does have good descriptions of how to get through the Aquamaze, and how to get the dog through the ventilation system at Ivor Tower Castle. But if you are looking for little Easter eggs, little details you might not find on your own, anything aside from the most basic timeline of the game, I suggest getting the strategy guide put out by BradyGames (also available through Amazon.com).
