Enlightening.,
This review is from: Secret and Forbidden (Paperback)
This is a great overview of the history of sex ,how it is a part of us,and yet not of us.I personally think this has to do with the evolutionary path of nature[along more poetic lines,if you will] as to the evolutionary path of humanity[along more mathematical lines,if you will]. The evolution of nude bathing[germany was into it more than france] and sex in art, and literature. Should be in all college libraries so that a person can at least get a broad overview of how sex and nudity evolved in our culture. One should definitely update it to a 21st century viewpoint because it was written in the 1960s.
