This is a cute little book that fits easily into even my smallest KIP bags for a fun read when there just isn't time to pick up the needles or if you just need a quick reading break. It does a nice job a explaining the "language" although sometimes you have to chase through several definitions to "get it". Knitters will enjoy it just for the fun element and might even learn something! :-)

I am a crocheter and not a knitter by an means, but his book made me laugh out loud MANY times! Secret language of knitters is a must have book! Now, when will we see a sequal such as the Secret Language of Crocheters? Crocheters want to know!

LOVE this book. I had a blast finding out how good my knitting vocabulary already is and learned a bunch of new terms and tricks. Very enjoyable and well written read. I actually bought 2 copies since it's the perfect gift for a knitting buddy too. Love the "Curse of the Boyfriend Sweater!" Always wondered what that meant. Anyone who knits (or crochets for that matter) will relate to this book.

Mary Beth Temple has written a clever and entertaining book for knitters and non-knitters. Each definition will bring a smile to your face. Insightful and a must for anyone that knits or knows someone that knits. What a treat!

This is a great book to flip through when you want a chuckle, or read cover-to-cover to relax and laugh with, whether you are a knitter yourself of have one in your life.

I never really thought about just how much of our own language we really do have - every knitter should have a copy of this for their loved ones.

I've met Ms. Temple at a couple of fiber events, and I think this book succeeds particularly because her personality and humor shine through on every page.

I love, love, LOVE this book! Mary Beth Temple writes hilarious anecdotes while at the same time being truly informative. I wish I could meet her in person! We could go to the LYS for a sit-and-knit night and talk about SEX (get the book and you'll understand!). This book is perfect for beginner to advanced knitters alike! Everyone will get a good laugh and learn about secret knitting lingo. So glad to have bought it! :)

This little book would be a great gift for anyone you know who knits. It is full of useful information and funny definitions as well as general musing about the culture of knitting. Mary Beth Temple has a wonderful writing style that makes you feel that you are chatting with a friend at knit night. This would be a great addition to your knitting library.

Someone who is in my Knitting Group had this book and was very happy with it. I decided to order it and I'm also very pleased with this book. I highly recommend it.
