Denise Linn is an author I trust. This book clarifies and teaches in countless examples how very ordinary things bring powerful messages to us everyday. At first I felt overwhelmed by my heightened awareness, then things began to settle into a natural, integrated process. The sign dictionary at the back of the book is vital to interpreting simple signs that keep reappearing. Reading signs is like learning a foreign language and her book is so easy to read I keep reading it over and over like a reference book. The personal stories she shares makes the book entertaining and instructional. GREAT BOOK - GREAT GIFT.

I found this book shortly after it's 1996 publication, under the title SIGNPOSTS, and devoured it with great pleasure. It gives useful instruction on how to understand and interpret the messages which the Universe is constantly sending to us, if only we knew how to read them. It also helps the reader to become increasingly receptive to these signs, and more aware of the meaningful coincidences that ocur in everyone's life. The best thing about this book is that I've been able to go back to it, so many times over the years, to refer to the SINGPOSTS DICTIONARY - which always helps me to interpret a mysterious sign that has appeared in my life. Though such a dictionary could never be complete because of the infinite possibilities offered by the Universe, the definitions in Denise Linn's dictionary have always pointed me towards a deeper understanding of the magical signs and coincidences I've experienced. I highly recommend this book.

Yes, it is true that have the book is a "signs dictionary", but that is the part that I read and enjoy! I have found that these signs are relevant to every day life. I particularly have found the signs, Smoke, Hawk, Money, Rain, Death, and Owl to be right on the money. There are so many more! The signs, to me, point out some message from God in my everyday life. I just have to open my eyes. I have given this book as a gift, many times and will continue to do so! I strongly reccomend this book as "food for thought".

I have been a huge Denise Linn fan for a while. This book will explain what everyday signs in your life mean. It is sometimes hard to find a specific sign that you might see - but she does have explain what that symbol (instead of seeing a funeral on a cold rainy morning - she will explain what seeing a funeral means)

There are a lot more signs than just a funeral. The lil bird outside your window every morning could be a sign too.

I have had my copy of this book for well over 5 years and without a doubt I can say this is the best book I have ever read on dream interpretation. And this is not only a book on Dreams. The Secret Language of Signs also encourages you to look for signs and symbols in your waking life, which you will find are easily as abundant as the signs in your dreaming life.

The first four chapters of this book are dedicated to helping the reader discover how to work with signs and symbols in waking life as well as the dreamtime. The bulk of the book is a remarkable dream dictionary which gives a great starting point in working with symbols, but is not so specific as to be either limiting or ridiculous.

I find Miss Linn's writing enjoyable and easy to understand and would highly recommend this wonderful book for both the beginning and advanced dreamworker.

There are very few books I'd give five stars but this is one of them. Unlike many books on dream or sign interpretation, Denise Linn offers multiple definitions for each "sign" and reinforces following your own guidance and intuition to see what rings true for you.

Rather than just providing individual definitions, she teaches you how to interpret things for yourself so if you come across something that is not listed in this extensive guide, you will be able to find your own meaning.

I've used this book extensively for my personal life and in helping others. The only drawback is that once other people take a look at it, they want to take the book home with them!

I've had my copy for almost ten years now and still use it to this day. I've even had a few dreams I thought would be impossible to make sense of, but after using The Secret Language of Signs found peace and understanding in them.

I'd highly recommend this book to anyone who wants to understand their dreamlife or who is noticing "things" around them in every day life and would like to figure out their messages.

The interpretations provided within make sense and are collected from a wide variety of sources and are easy to use no matter what your spiritual or cultural background is.

I had the most amazing breakthrough while reading Denise Linn's book The Secret Language of Signs. I didn't realize how much and how often Spirit was trying to communicate with me before I started reading this book. Now I watch for signs in my body, my surroundings, music, conversations, nature, and other people. In fact, there is hardly a time when the Universe is not speaking!

I got a message in a dream and when I looked up the key words from the dream in the Sign Dictionary contained in Ms. Linn's book, the dream made perfect sense to me. I knew exactly what the symbols and words meant and it gave me peace to know that something from my past was coming up for healing. After dealing with it, the pain in my body ceased! My body had been trying to give me a message for about six weeks, but I just didn't get it. I didn't even know my body could speak to me about emotional issues.

Here's another example: I was reminded of the same name six times in a 24-hour period. Once, I saw it printed on a napkin; then, I heard it on the radio. Next, I saw a popular person by that name in a photograph hanging on the wall in a restaurant where I was eating; I saw it again on a billboard, then in an email, and finally on a note someone scribbled on a scrap piece of paper that was on my desk! That very same day, I found out that a person I knew by that name is expecting a baby! Plus, when I looked up the name in the Sign Dictionary, I found an even deeper meaning for me personally. I get it now.

How helpful are signs? I heard a radio announcer talking about an auction of rock `n' roll memorabilia. One contract signed by a popular band in the 1960s went for over $100,000! At the time, I was having difficulty with someone, whom I felt was trying to take advantage of me. I remembered that I had signed a contract with the person, so I pulled out the contract and reminded the client of the terms we had agreed upon. My problem was resolved!

There are signs all around us. Now, I know what to watch for and how to listen for them, I'm going to be looking for signs from now on. Thank you, Denise, for sharing.

I've had this book for years! I can't tell you how many times I've referenced it and how many times it was accurate. I remember most things that I've referenced in it, but still like having it around just in case. I only wish it had more signs indicated.

I got this book to help me notice the every day signs we get from the Universe. There is lots of information and it's meaning. It's a great book for referencing the signs you do start to notice. Well written and very informative.
