The original work of Livermore was an much as enigma as the author himself. It was poorly written and almost deliberately confusing and hard to follow. This is not a surprise coming from a very secretive trader who refused to converse with people in the mornings so he would be left in pure set of mind not under undue influence of unwanted punters. The book was apparently written in 1940 at low ebb in Livermore's life he was soon to commit suicide. Livermore wrote this book to promote a stock market advisory service that he was starting, to supplement his declining income. This book attempts to explain Livermore's trading style; it also contains code of the Market key in Trade Station (EasyLanguage) and Wealth-lab wealth-script languages as well as flowchart and pseudo-code format. This book and the provided software are the perfect foundation for building your own profitable trading system. As one reviewer pointed out, the author used "close prices" instead of "extreme prices" however; this is really a minor detail as it can be a parameter in the software. That way you can test and verify your results before risking real money! To me, that's an invaluable resource that far exceeds the price of this book. Overall this is a very solid book that will help you better understand The Market Key System.

This book is useless to me. Mr. Jesse Lauriston Livermore instructed us to use extreme prices (either day high or day low) to fill out The Market Key forms. The author used close prises. This will make results totally different sometimes and make The Market Key very unreliable. I could tell the author spent time and some money to do the research, but it was not done right at the very beginning.

THe author instructs people to do it by computer. Jesse wanted people to do it by hand and brain diligently. That helps you make correct judgement. You don't really need a computer do it for you, if you really want to follow Mr.Jesse Livermore's way.
