Just by itself the artwork and the layout of this book is exceptional.
The walkthrough is given in a loose story format(There are a couple of different ways one of the characters can be introduced,) with all the specs on the creatures and bosses and seed palaces in the back.

In the higher levels some of the orb chests can be easy to miss and the book has helpful land maps, weapon and creature information. I also like the way the major bosses and mana palace creatures are given their own introductions at the end of each chapter.

I wish every guide was as nice as this one.

This book helped me find some things i didn't see when i played it.I recomend it to any one who plays Secret of mana

This book gave a decent overview of how to play the game of Secret of Mana. Many tips were given, however, most were common sense. One nice advantage, though, is that it comes with stats for many enemies and bosses throughout the game. And who wants to go cast analyzer on every character you see? Though this info can sometimes be found on the internet, the book is inexpensive and entertaining. A good buy for anybody addicted to the Secret of Mana (such as me).

This book rules! This book tells you about the hard to identify enemys. This book is great for a very cheap price. All the secrets of the game!

I used to have this book, and it really helped me save a lot of magic by telling what to use on enemies and orbs instead of just guessing and using "Analyzer" magic to find out each enemies' weakness. It also told me where to go in case I got lost. I would highly recommend this book for anybody who needs it.

How can anybody even diss this guide it is like a novel and players guide for the greatest game ever i don't see what more you can ask for its the best detailed pictures enemy descriptions and a very helpful walkthrough i don,t see what the problem is if this review was out of ten i would give it an eleven heres a little tip for everyone who has sense buy this book while you still can som is the best bye :)

Book was a big help in playing the game. Found out things that I did not know about the game.

I wish guides for RPG's were still written like this!! It doesn't give away every conceivable tid-bit of info; it actually makes you think in order to figure those things out. It's very well written and I actually found it fun to read without playing the game, like a good book if you will. The bestiary was very helpful too. Buy this; you won't be disappointed unless you like your guides to absolutely flesh-out your games (which kind of ruins the fun for me).

This guide is very helpful in the fact that while helping you through the game, not spoiling some of the fun of discovering hidden secrets.... Black and White pictures but still, great artwork and storylines make this a great guide for a great game!

This is the best Stradegy Guide I have in my collection of RPG Guides. I have at least 2 Guides for FF3, 5 for FF7, 1 for Chrono Trigger, 1 for Mario RPG, 1 for Earth Bound and this one. And it takes the cake!!!
