The Future Of The Past,
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Secret of the Marauder Satellite. (Hardcover)
Remember when we had that huge wheel space station up there, back in
the mid 80s? No? You will when you read Ted White's future looking book from 1966. A straight time line experience from that past point of view. Hiliarious, but scary in some senses. Global climate change and how an astronaut maneuvers in space on his own are two things that are still relavant. The US vs Soviet vibe comes through strong here, along with crew cuts and the spunky female sidekick, but for those who grew up in the "Space Age" this will tickle and enlighten, and mabye make you a bit sad for "might have beens" |
