The Secret of Oz is a very timely documentary at this critical point in American history. Presenting monetary history in ancient and more recent times, it exposes the systemically flawed debt-money system to which the United States and most of the world is currently enslaved. Why should governments have to borrow money into existence from private banks (at interest) if government can simply create the money itself without debt or interest for the benefit of all citizens? Sovereign republics have a responsibility to issue debt-free money into circulation for the protection of the rights of individuals, specifically, the rights of liberty and pursuit of happiness.

Bill Still's film points out how today's money creation system primarily benefits a few elite bankers and financiers at the expense of the rest of humanity. It also offers several solutions to the problem which can not only get us back on track, but enable us to achieve unprecedented prosperity in a short amount of time. Gold is not the answer. The only way to restore free market capitalism, Constitutionally limited government, and individual liberty is for American government to take the power to create the national currency away from Wall Street and put it back where it belongs---in the hands of the people.

It is regrettable that a movie which examines this issue with such detail and clarity is being blocked from further sale by Amazon.com. They cite "performance issues" as the justification, but the seller has ample proof that he far exceeds the performance standards. This smacks to me of thinly veiled censorship.

As a longtime customer of Amazon, I am deeply disappointed with them for this action. I'm afraid I'll have to reconsider how much of my money I spend on purchases through this website.

After viewing Bill Still's award winning movie, "The Secret of Oz," you will never view "The Wizard of Oz" or our economy with the same child eyed unawareness as I once did.

The Secret of Oz is a terrific analogy and Bill walks us all the way to REAL solutions that can move us past naive HOPE, and into a fulfilling future, one without debt based money and one without the manipulations and flaws of a gold standard. Bill pulls back the curtain of history to show how money issues have been boxed in over time - Republican/ Democrat, Gold Standard/ DEBT based fiat.

Pay no attention to that man behind the curtain!

Bill's movie, "The Secret of Oz" presents history in a fascinating way, he then picks up on author L. Frank Baum's symbolisms and spells them all out for you - The yellow brick road, the silver slippers, the Emerald City, the mindless Scarecrow, the heartless Tin Man, the cowardly Lion. Even the witches and flying monkeys have meanings that you will find fascinating.

Bill takes you on a trip around the world and through time, his journey returning us from the land of OZ back to the reality of Kansas. He spent a great deal of time and money bringing us this film, I highly encourage everyone to buy it and then show it to family and friends. Discuss it, but then ACT on it. Don't leave it to HOPE that others will jump up and save the day, for we must all seize it, because hope is but a dream, it requires ACTION to make dreams come true.

This is a critically important film that everyone should see who is interested in the survival of our economy. Bill Still has done an excellent job -- enlightening, accessible and entertaining.

Amazon - if you continue to act in this partial manner by censoring excellent videos such as this, you will lose market share. We will vote with our dollars (if dollars are still currency in the near future). Jeff Bezos - you may think that worshipping your hedge fund buddies and their central banking family owners is the smart way to go. They don't pay your salary, WE do. If you need a reminder of this fact, then just continue as you are doing with this superb DVD. We have options.

Few people realize how our monetary system truly works - and this is probably intentional. You owe it to yourself to understand the game and this film is a great start. Highly recommended!

I just got my copy of Secrets of Oz, and it is excellent. I had seen The Money Masters that Bill Still had produced in 1996, and that movie was brilliant in educating me about how our monetary system works. America is so in debt that it would take numerous generations to even begin to pay off the debt we owe. How did this happen? It happened because of the Federal Reserve system that was created in 1913. Through fractional reserve banking, private bankers were able to inflate the money supply which then devalued or currency, and ultimately stripped the wealth of the nation. Bill Still's Secret of Oz presents an excellent alternative to replace the Fractional Reserve banking system that would allow America to experience prosperity we could never imagine. This is the new Civil Rights movement. This is a movement of the people against the elite bankers who have been ruling the world through nefarious means for centuries. Buy this movie, and then buy one for your friends. If the people unite around this one issue, we can save this country, and perhaps the world, and then live a life that benefits all humanity not just a few.

The Secret of Oz traces the successes and failures of nations relating it to their monetary policies. From Rome through the British Empire, from the founding of the United States through the current financial crisis, Mr. Still shows how monetary policy has been an integral and major factor in world history. You'll never look at gold the same way again.

In this entertaining presentation, Mr. Still explains how we've come to live in Oz. And, more important, how we can get back to Kansas. As the US Dollar sinks into oblivion, you owe it to yourself and your children to get this movie. Be part of the solution!

It addresses the route of the problem with laser clarity and simplicity that only truth can convey. More Importantly Bill Still, in his award winning documentary, delivers the Solution to the financial problems that plague every human being held captive in this dysfunctional system we are using today. We are Ready for this change.

I can't begin to tell just how important this DVD is for every American. If you live in America and have children, this just might be the most important message you could ever teach them.

Excellent documentary detailing how government and monetary policy intrinsically shape the wealth of our nation and loved ones. The levers that government controls are often misused and learning from the past (I.e The Wonderful Wizard of Oz) is critically important, especially now with our country in such difficult economic times.
Hopefully, Amazon will continue to offer this product, and the many others with different points view, that the company usually provides as products to its customers.
