Stalked woman who relocates goes from the pan to the fire., November 7, 1999
This review is from: Secret Passion (Arabesque) (Mass Market Paperback)
Julia Smalls relocated two thousand miles to get away from a stalker who had made her life and that of her family miserable for the past eight years. Not only did she move, but she learned self-defense, changed her name and other aspects of her life so she could feel safe. Now she was starting a new business "Communications Specialist" and recently was hired to work for the three partners in a real estate firm. This is a story of mystery, mayhem and evolving love that causes Julia to have tense interactions with each of the partners including David Martell, who is so handsome and virile that he takes Julia's breath away. Although he is attracted to her, his guilt about his wife's death causes him to avoid Julia by being overly suspicious and reserved. How she manages makes for very interesting reading.
