This book takes you through the entires Christy Miller Seriesand Sierra Jensen Series, but gives readers a look at Christy'spersonal thoughts, dreams, wishes, and prayers. This book also will help you understand what's going on in Christy's life during the Sierra Jensen Series. My favorite part is when Christy's leaving for Switzerland and she's saying goodbye to Todd. For a while they just hold each other and cry together. Then he kisses he three times... "One for the past" he says "One for the present" and "One for the future" ... the kiss for the future is the really long awesome romantic type... This book doesn't mean much if you haven't read the Chrsity and Sierra boks first, but if you like them, this will become on of your favorite books ever.

I enjoyed this book very much. It was so nice to hear Christy's point of view whaen everything was going on. Christy's say on things is great to have because some of the things said in the stories were in the dariy.What I love is the name she gave her dariy DSF. Dear Silent Friend.The why Robin wrote the book was different and awsome because most of the writtings in it are what teens really write in their dariy's (trust me I have one) I think everyteen reading rogin's series should read this book.

Hi Christy fans and others! This book is a great because it goes more into Christy's thoughts and feelings about her friends, Todd, her family, and what goes on in her life with her faith. I love how Christy and Todd's relationship grows and I love it when Todd kisses her three times- one for the past, one for the present, and a long kiss for the future, when Christy travels to Europe. This books takes you through the series of Christy Miller and the Sierra Jenson series too. Christy's normal teenage life is expressed in this dairy of hers and reveals things the book doesn't. I find this book really great and I hope you will enjoy it too!God bless!

Hello everyone. Robin Jones Gunn's books on Christy Miller are absolutely the best books I have ever read. When you read them, it's as if you've crawled inside the book and you're there with her everywhere she goes! Todd is such a great character, and he's the exact type I've dreamt of marrying ever since I got book 1. I cry when she cries. I laugh, and trust me, there's plenty to laugh at. I have a smile on my face during every book, and I definitely recommend every single on of them. These books are sweet and romantic, but realistic and give you a Biblical perspective on the way life should be. I have actually grown closer to God through these books. Especially the college series. Thanks, Robin! You're the best!

This book is about Christy Miller, only deeper. It shows her life over five years in high school and in college. It gives a unique outlook on teen life with a Christian view. I couldn't put this book down! I would reccomend this book for all Chistians and people who are looking to be a Christian. This is a great way to start the Christy Miller series or to read along with it. JUST READ THIS BOOK! IT'S REALLY GOOD!

Hey ya'll...I think that these books are the most incredible books i have ever read. I have read all 12 of the Christy Miller Series and 1 and 2 of the College Series! I instantly Fell in Love with Todd, and I pray that the guy I marry will be just like him. He has the qualities every guy should have! I wish that my life was just like Christy's and I can't wait to read the 3rd book of the College Series! These Books have helped me in my life more ways than I can count! I love them and I can't wait to read them over! The things todd says to Christy are so sweet and caring, it makes you want to cry. I commend Robin Jones Gunn, she is an amazing writer. I like books that I can sit down in my room, and just get lost in a book. I couldn't put them down. I havne't been able to do that with a book in a long time! I encourage everyone to read these books, every one of them, and open their hearts to learn from them. God spoke to me in so many ways while i was reading the college books the most. I learned so much and my relationship with god was grown immensly. I look up to christy...and I try to be more like her each day!

I totally agree with the other two reviews! I loved this book the first time I read it. I'm sure it didn't help that I had yet to read the Sierra series, but it is still awesome after having read them! It really lets you in on the feelings, prayers, and personal thought Christy thinks but aren't written in the Christy books. In agreement with you guys, when she leaves for Switzerland and she and Todd are together has to be the most romantic, sweatest thing I've ever read. I would recommend reading the original series first, but you have got to read this one too! Thanks much, Robin, for the pages of pleasure you have provided us with!

I enjoyed reading this diary, complete with gaps of time unchronicled (just like my journal). It's nice, the way that the entries tie in with the books, sometimes adding more intimate reflection than we've seen. I particularly liked the way that Christy's "voice" changed as time went on, maturing and becoming more reflective, but not losing any of the joy and exuberance we love.

My only unfulfilled wish for the book was that we might see more about the times in between the "big events" that are in the main series. The diary tends to focus on the major episodes but not show much of the everyday that tends to creep into my journal--mostly because I only have time to write when nothing is going on.

All in all, a great addition to the Christy Miller books.

Its a great book, but keep in mind that it is basically the summary of the first 4 volumes of "The Christy Miller Series." So if you have already read them, it just gives you the stories in Christy's point of view as she writes in her diary. But if you havent read the volumes yet, then this can catch you up..i highly recommend reading the first 4 volumes, because her diary leaves out alot of my favorite details! But, it was really nice to read things that i had missed before!

I can't wait until her next book comes out...I've heard there's going to be another book...I hope there will be the 3rd book in the college series ended so soon...awww What happens when Todd opens his wedding present, huh? and what about Katie and Rick...She has to write another one, she just has too.
