Milo and his neighbor friends go to great lengths to avoid the dreaded BEDTIME, and have a fun, secret night to themselves. The story is straightforward and engaging, the artwork is whimsical with a lot of amusing detail. My daughter especially enjoys all the "cutaway" illustrations, that show hidden secret interiors of the house and walls. This is that sort of bedtime book you can explore night after night and still find something new. It's at the top of our reading list this year. (daughter, age 5)
