Ways of knowing God and what is possible,
By Keith A. Rickert Sr. (Kansas City) - See all my reviews
This review is from: The Secret of the Saints (Paperback)
The best aspect of this book is it's succinctness, it's brevity. When we consider making Christian faith ours or desire to advance in it, we really long for the possibility of God knowing us individually and more than that, that He will be our friend, and we His. This book offers substance to encourage us without denying the dedication necessary to become intimate with God. It is practical in showing the ways, and of the ways, what is the better way. It provides encouraging information on the experiences of canonized saints who have been wholehearted in dedicating themselves to knowing and loving God. One comes away from reading this little book of around 100 pages believing ".... with God, all things are possible." For me, it was just the book that I needed to more completely give myself to His purposes.
