WHEN NANCY GOES
STARGAZING, SHE CATCHES
A COMET OF AN ADVENTURE
BY THE TAIL!

Nancy and George are thrilled when Bob "Dr. Stars" Steller, a cool astronomer with a popular radio program, comes to River Heights for the Perseid meteor shower. Bess goes into orbit when she learns that a Hollywood heartthrob and his girlfriend are also in town secretly.

But when Nancy finds Steller's van deserted and runs into a hostile rival of the astronomer, she senses a dangerous black hole in the event. Then Dr. Steller finally appears -- or is he an optical illusion? As Nancy uncovers more evidence, her suspicions lead her into a sinister scheme moving faster than the speed of light!

More About the Author

Carolyn Keene and Franklin W. Dixon are the pseudonyms under which many ghostwriters penned the Nancy Drew and Hardy Boys series, respectively. Both series were created by Edward Stratemeyer, founder of the Stratemeyer Syndicate book packaging firm, in the late 1920s and early 1930s.

Stratemeyer's daughter, Harriet, and syndicate writer Mildred Wirt Benson were the two people primarily responsible for bringing the iconic character of Nancy Drew to life in the minds and hearts of millions of readers around the world.

4.0 out of 5 stars Once again, November 10, 2000
By A Customer
This review is from: The Secret in the Stars (Nancy Drew, Book 156) (Paperback)
Once again, Nancy Drew has prevailed in a brethtaking mystery where every chapter ends in suspense. When a famous astronamer disappears, Nancy has to find him. But when he finally shows up, she has to figure out whether it's really him, or just an illusion! Starstruck by a celebrity couple, Bess isn't much help, and Nancy has to solve this one on her own! A breathtaking mystery that will keep readers on their toes, I would not recommend this book to read at night if you have a test in school the next day. This book is so good, no one who picks it up will be able to put it down until they finish it!

A Kid's Review
This review is from: The Secret in the Stars (Nancy Drew, Book 156) (Paperback)
I loved this book. I had to rate this 5 stars. In this book Nancy and her friends are excited when Bob Steller an astronomer comes to do stargazing shows. But when he doesn't know information about astonomy it leads Nancy and her friends in a world of mix-up they never would've suspected.
