Getting Wet with a Victorian Lady,
By Don Brynelsen (Schaumburg, Illinois) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Secret Talents (Paperback)
This book is really not set in a girls boarding school, but rather recounts the sexual awakening and adventures of a young Opera Diva in the late Victorian period. After witnessing a young couple and later her own parents making love, the girl begins her voyage of sexual discovery with several partners including her governess. She also develops a fetish for going into water fully clothed, getting an erotic thrill from the experence and indulges in the practice several times in the book, most notably at a raucous party at a country estate where the guests take the plunge dressed in their sleepwear. In between the aquatic antics, the Diva also engages in sometimes bizzare sexual activities with persons of both sexes. Being a big fan of women in wet clothing, I would have like to seen more scenes of the heroine taking a dip in her clothes, and maybe a mass all female orgy in a pool or lake told in detail, but I still found this to be an entertaining and stimulating book.

This review is from: Secret Talents (Paperback)
set in Vitoriam time Vienna the herione recounts her sexual awakening from the time she was 15 ..... Written by a woman the sex is soft and inexorable as we see our young heroine seducing both men and girls alike ... The writing clear easy to read and the story follows a sequence showing the author has put thought and tenderness into the book .... It's a must have for your library

Not about a boarding school at all,
By A Customer
This review is from: Secret Talents (Paperback)
First off, the jacket description of this book is evidently about another work. It is about an opera singer in the Austro-Hungarian empire who never goes anywhere near a boarding school. While this book delivers the required amount of sex, and some amusing period pieces, the translation or the writing dilute the enjoyment. The editors can be blamed not only for slip-ups throughout the text but for a major plot jump between two sentences late in the book. Readers looking for a fun, 'costume-drama' dirty book would be better served by Blue Moon's Belle Sauvage or Black Lace's Elena's Destiny or Darker than Love.
