I was left slightly annoyed and want to give my children better. Call it partly a sense of loyalty to real writers. There is so much better to be found in the Harry Potter series, Philip K. Dick, even Morgan Llewelyn. Magic? What magic? I've tried a couple of these now and all I can conclude is, shrug, maybe it disappeared.
