Mind-Bending Gem,
This review is from: The Secret Wisdom of Kukulkan (Paperback)
This book delivers on answering those sacred questions each of us has regarding the very nature of our existence and our power of creation. It is an enlightening and entertaining journey visiting some of the most beloved metaphysical, paranormal, and new science topics. I especially appreciate the author's choice of not writing a 1000 page book. The beauty here is the wisdom and truth that concisely pulls at your heart and challenges your mind without leaving you guessing or bogged down with lengthy explanations. It inspired me to revisit some good old fashioned psychic phenomena while making a list of what next to explore on my journey. It is one of those gems of a read that I will be sharing with many!
PS I had a paranormal experience while writing this review... (I'm serious)

AWESOME JOURNEY OF THE MIND!,
By LLoree72 (USA) - See all my reviews
This review is from: The Secret Wisdom of Kukulkan (Paperback)
This is not a textbook, nor is it meant to be. This is a pure journey of the mind - a newly minted book of philosophy. This book is, simply put, the effort of seasoned paranormal investigator & researcher, Joshua P. Warren, to bring focus & meaning to all of the high strangeness he has experienced over his 20+ years in the field. The way in which he pulls together aliens, spirits, cryptids & ESP, into a unified theory of who & what we are as human beings is insightfully genius. If properly understood & absorbed, this book gives back to the reader a sense of that spiritual & metaphysical control that modern man lost so long ago. If you are a fellow traveler searching the fragments of reality for a semblance of meaning this book will prove profound.

Good book to read,
This review is from: The Secret Wisdom of Kukulkan (Paperback)
I can't even begin to explain the concepts Warren covers, so I'm not going to waste my time trying. Regardless, it is an amazing book.
Everything is explained perfectly, and very easy to understand (although you might need to wiki some definitions). A very enjoyable read, gives you a new perspective to think about life. A very short read, but this book is probably the most information you'll ever get in a 75-page book. Highly recommended.

This review is from: The Secret Wisdom of Kukulkan (Paperback)
The author throws out some interesting ideas in this book but does not develop any of them to any extent. It is a rambling through a number of more or less related subjects, e.g., ESP, cryptids, conspiracy theories, UFOs, etc., without an emphasis on any of them. Even Kukulkan doesn't get much mention. I counted 75 pages of text which isn't enough to do justice to weaving together such a broad range of topics. |
