I brought this book home for my four kids, but as is my habit, I read the first chapter or so just to be sure it was something I felt was safe for them to read. I ended up reading the whole book and loved it. The mystery that we (the reader) get to try to solve made the book IMHO. My kids loved it too, especially my youngest boy (11) and my younger teen girls. I highly recommend this book to anyone with kids who love adventure, the great outdoors, horses, camping, and solving mysteries. Great fun!
