This has 2 episodes on this tape and one video extra just for the tape and here are the descriptions:
The Videotape: At career day at the plant, Alex is taped using her powers and she, Ray and Annie have to sneak back and get the tape.
Road Trip: Alex and Dad have trouble connecting. They go on a day trip together and chaos ensues.
Video Extra: Alex and her best friend Ray make a tape on the scary paridise vally chemical plant determaned to proove that the chemical plant is using illegal stuff. Are Alex and Ray being brave or are they being foolosh?
Running time: Approximently 55 min.

Comments: I highley recomend that if you like Alex Mack or the old shows on nick then you should buy this movie.

I remember old Nick classics such as Pete and Pete, Underdog, and a girl with powers, named Alex Mack. I sure wish Nick had any of these shows still on. Bring 'em back Nick!

I have never seen this video and I do not care to buy it either. I have; however, seen episodes of this series. I remember when this tape was only $25 or $30 dollars on this site. To me--since there were about eighty episodes of this show--I believe a person would be crazy to buy this tape for $198.00, even if it is a rare video, as it only contains two or three episodes of the series. Personally, I would wait until a full season of The Secret World of Alex Mack or the entire series becomes available on VHS or DVD. Then, I would be willing to pay a somewhat higher charge because I would be getting more for my money.

In my opinion, I enjoyed the series, but I would not pay $198.00 for this video; therefore I give it three stars. This is not a wise buy for a wise guy--or girl. Then again, readers of this review do not have to accept my comments.

This VHS contained only two episodes but they were very good. The first "The Video Tape" had Alex having to contend with career day at the chemical plant and having to keep her secret powers truly secret. The second episode was "The Road Trip" and had Alex and her dad (a scientific genuis) spending some quality time together on a road trip and tackling some problems that they encounter; very sweet and endearing.
Alex is a character that younger children, teenagers and adults can all respect and admire. It was contemporary for its time (the 1990's) and still feels so today. I recommend this highly to everyone of all ages.

This movie was great and I do wish they would bring this show and all the other great nickolodeon shows back. All the nick shows now... I'm sorry but they just don't live up to all the older shows.

Since there is only 2 episodes on the tape, the price is so far out in left field, its not worth anything. I know that Alex Mack is not playing anymore, and that you cannot find that often, but charging over $5 is ripping you off. I used to watch this as a kid, and I love it, but Im not going to waste that much money on it when I found it on DVD non the less, for only $40, and its every episode. I give this one star, because I cant go lower, youre ripping people off, and theyre just not smart enough to realize it.

As most people who know who Larisa is will agree, she is a wonderful person. The book is brilliant too! Larisa-if she ever drops by-don't take any notice of the type of people who write things like the person who wrote the other review; you know what THEY want...although you are beautiful! Do you think Alex Mack's GC-161's given abilities are freaky? Do you play the piano? Well, I've got to say a few things to round off; great book, great job on doing Alex Mack and letting all the viewers enjoy it and I (and alot of others too!) wish you all the best for the future, where ever your path may lead you!
