3.0 out of 5 stars unsure about their HEA, September 13, 2010
This review is from: Secretly Married (Silhouette Special Edition No. 1591) (Mass Market Paperback)
Workaholic psychiatrist goes to hero's small island town to give him back her wedding ring after he repeatedly sends it back to her by mail. After 2 years since hero left heroine after she miscarried their baby, both find that they are still very much attracted to each other but they have major unresolved marital issues that keep them from living well with each other.

This Leigh book was just ok. Overall writing was fine. Romance was interesting, although not very absorbing. Both characters, esp. the heroine, were too emotionally withdrawn & I didn't feel like I really got to know these characters that well. I sympathized with their problems but the emotional gap between the 2 seemed huge. It may have helped to know more & be shown more the reasons why Hero & heroine were this way. They did have good sexual chemistry. It was just their emotional chemistry that was off & they were only beginning to open up to each other a little bit by the end. They have a long road ahead to their HEA.

Somewhat recommended.
