Navy Seal Lieutenant Byron Burke has been from the depths of hell and back since the night a soulless maniac murdered his family. That night Byron rushed after the killer only to have him slip through his finger vanishing into the deep of the night. Years later still tortured and feeling lifeless inside Byron sets out to find and avenging his family hoping to finally find peace. If only it was that easy.
Sirenia finds herself now the true HOPE of saving her mere-species. The last fertile mermaid of her kind she sets out to find the chosen son of Triton. On her way, Sirenia encounters land-walker Byron Burk who sets every fiber of her body and soul on fire. A hurricane heading straight for them she has to bring them to safety. In this she indentures herself to the sinfully tempting land-walker. Only way for Sirenia to be free is if Byron lets her go. But does she really want to be release?
Waking to a vision so tempting isn't quite what Byron expects. Or the familiarity of the angel starring back at him. His body wracked with pain he can't help but be drawn to this sensual being. Shake it off Burke, he tells him self. But he just can't.
Can't fight it. Don't fight it. Sirenia and Byron come together in a hydroelectric storm of passion and explode with untold emotions that neither can resist. But there is danger and a homicidal maniac dodging and scheming at every turn. Dark deception, intrigue and a murder lays afoot in this mythical Red Sage erotic romance adventure by Liane Gentry Skye. Ms. Skye has done it once again in this amazing romance. The author has this uncanny ability to pull at your heart strings all the while taking you on a mythical adventure of mass proportions and entangling you into world of her making. Her unique talent of weaving myth and legend is undoubtedly one of the best in writing so far. Liane is truly a talent to be reckoned with.

Take one sexually starved psychology professor and one bewitched 400 year-old Highland Hottie and mix in a whole bunch of myth and dark magic and you have Red Sage author, Nicole North's debut Devil in A Kilt.
Trying to get over being sex starved and stop the erotic dreams of the Highland Hottie , Shauna takes matters into her own hands.
Visiting the Highland games should do the trick. Tons of rippling muscled wannabe Highland Hotties are all around. But nothing. Nadda. That is until she holds a four hundred year old claymore in her hand and it pops her back in time. To a run down Scottish castle with her very erotic dream coming at her. Okay, this isn't what she bargained for or can believe it's happening. But when the Hottie Highlander stops in front of Shauna it takes all her will power not to drop to her knees.
They call him the McDeevil; satans spawn. His fields are dry and barren. His clan has left, forsaken their laird. And to boot his father is half crackers spouting Gavin needs to find his one true love to break the curse. If that don't beat all, the most devastating beauty just has shown up in his room bearing his claymore in hand? What madness is this? Is she hear to kill him? Or to fill all of his pent up sexual fantasies? She probably was sent here to torture him, is more likely. Or just maybe she could be the ONE that was sent to break the curse and bring back life to his land and people? What he does knows for sure is that he wants her and will have her at any cost.
Devil in A Kilt is by far one of the best erotic romance highland story I've been honored to read. Ms. North has uncanny way of using wit and satire to deliver an amazing high octane read.
The plot is about the great, Laird Gavin McTavish being bewitched by a witch of the black arts for something he didn't do. The only way to break the curse isn't even revealed to Gavin until Shauna appears. Even then he isn't so sure, about her part in breaking the curse or Shauna and the crazy way she talks. It's madness in them Highland hills, I tell ya.
Besides the scintillating sexcapades between Gavin and Shauna, I found myself giggling and smiling at how they related with one another. This story is a full charged electric read that had this reader graving more of Ms. North, Hottie highlander. If this is just a taste of what the author has in store I say, "thank you and give me some more".

Dishartened by her ex who freaked when she asked to be tied down she's drowning her sorrows with a hot bath and a bottle of wine when The Boy Next Door, Jacob Hale barrels in gun loaded to protect her most treasured valubales.
A bottle of wine later Isa is feeling the groove and admits to Jacob that she wants more than "kinky" in her bed. She wants to lose control. Give complete control and experience sex like she never has. But she doesn't see Jacob as the tie me up and tie me down until I scream type of guy.
Jacob Hale has been fantasizing about this moment ever since Isa moved next door six months ago. How sweet the little beauty wants to be dominated in the bedroom. Why didn't she say so in the first place? Jacob has his own red satin ropes that are sure to bring Isa the pleasure and sexual release she is dieing for. I mean, what are drop dead gorgeous neighbors for?
The Boy Next Door by Red Sage author, Hannah Murray is a foray into BDSM but on the completely erotic side. I like my bondage served Up with a bit of humor on the side which this author does remarkably. The sexual tension was hot and scorched my screen with every word. The dynamic between Isa and Jacob was intense from the moment in the bathroom scene, to the tie me up restaurant scene until the very last word.

The Bet by Red Sage author, Leigh Court is a Victorian romp with lechery, sexual dalliance and a wager to set even the hard of hearts to melt. I assure you that Damien is very much the master of sexual titillation in this erotic romance. Even the great rake is turned upside down by this very intelligent and provocative woman. How can he resist?
Reader this story has all the elements of a wonderful romance with a splash of spice to get your juices flowing. I love the show and tell aspect of the story and it had my pulse beating faster and my heart racing . I enjoy a good game of cat and mouse like the rest of the world. But readers this story will not only having you say, yes I'd like some more, but giggling and waiting with baited breath to see if Claire can win the Hunt.

HEART STORM by Liane Gentry Skye
Navy SEAL Byron Burke has had a lifelong obsession with the water. He'd been rescued from the shore by the Burke family as a child with the only clue as to his true identity being a unique birthmark resembling a trident framed by a pair of wings. Now he's all grown up with more questions than answers and his family's deaths weigh heavily on his heart. Despite all his training, Byron throws caution to the wind and takes his surfboard out into an impending hurricane. Little does he know that his actions will bring him in contact with a mermaid. Sirenia is the last fertile mermaid of her brood and unless she can locate the prophesized Lost Son of Tritan her kind will die out. How was she to know that the injured land-walker and the fabled mer-man are one and the same?
Navy SEALs are the subject of many women's fantasies and Byron is no exception. He's intensely hot but as a reader you get the sense that there's more to his story then simply a love for the water. Liane Gentry Skye does a beautiful job of incorporating Byron's preference for the sea to the underwater existence of merfolk.
THE BOY NEXT DOOR by Hannah Murray
Isabella Carelli's latest endeavor at finding a man interested in a little something kinkier than the missionary position has resulted in yet another disappointment. All she wants is a little slap and tickle and some bondage. Is that really too much to ask? Apparently so... but how was she to know that Jacob Hale, the boy next door, would share so many of her delectable fantasies?
Hannah Murray will entice women to view that `boy next door' in a different light with this contemporary tale. This story really captured my interest because of the humorous way Isabella divulges her penchant for a little BDSM in the bedroom.
DEVIL IN A KILT by Nicole North
Shauna MacRae has been besieged with fantasies involving a Highland hunk she'd noticed on a cover of a romance novel. As a `born-again virgin' there's not even a substitute male she can use to take the itch off so she's left with her vivid imagination and no outlet to assuage her need. That is, until she takes a trip to the Highland games and touches an ancient sword belonging to Gavin MacTavish. Next thing she knows, she's transported back to the year 1612 and into the presence of her `fantasy man - a man who suffers a curse he believes that she can break.
Scottish highlanders are a favorite of many romance readers and Nicole North's adds an exciting paranormal element that truly captures the imagination. This is Ms. North's first published story and I'll be anxious to see what she comes up with next.
THE BET by Leigh Court
Damian Hunt, Viscount Atherton, makes an outlandish boast that he can bring a woman the ultimate joy by only using his mouth - and not actually touching her in any way culminates in a bet with very high stakes. George risks losing his London house if Damian can pull it off and Damian stands to lose his prized horse. Not just any woman will do for such a bet; George believes his younger sister Claire is the perfect model of womanhood for Damian's challenge. She's practically on the shelf and a prude to boot. George is confident that there's no way that Damian can pull it off. Damian however, believes a little creativity and Claire's love of literature just may play right into his hands.
Leigh Court's THE BET had me chuckling at the antics of Damian and George which were made even more humorous by Claire's prudish attitude towards the men's self indulgences. THE BET is Ms. Court's second SECRETS novella and certainly has cemented herself a place on my authors to watch list.
The Red Sage SECRETS anthologies have long held space on my keeper shelves. Like its predecessors, SECRETS VOLUME 27 contains four tales of varying genres that deliver on readers' desire for something more erotic in their storylines. Each of these authors delivers a captivating story full of intense scenes guaranteed to have you in search of more writing by them. If you enjoy anthologies then I highly suggest checking out the various SECRETS anthologies - I know my foray into the more risqué romance storylines began with a SECRETS book and I've never regretted picking up any of these tantalizing reads.
