This CDA Exam Guide was very helpful. I recommend it for assistants with background of assisting and/or graduation from an accredited school and need a refresher for their CDA exam. Information is thorough but might be too difficult for someone with no assisting experience. Overall, I found this guide essential in preparing for my CDA.

I've been a dental assistant for over 4 years and I just purchased this book to study for the CDA exam to get my certification. There are absolutely NO pictures in this book. I think it's a great way of getting a quick guide on what to studying to be a DA, but I would definitely recommend an additional text if you have no experience. I did purchase a book of Review questions for the exam and that has been extremely helpful. I've found I learn more by taking the practice exams and then reviewing the key with a detailed discription of what the answer is and why, along with why the other answers are incorrect.
