A mediocre entry in the Call of Cthulhu line,

This review is from: Secrets (Call of Cthulhu) (Paperback)
Not the best scenario book available for the otherwise excellent Call of Cthulhu game system. If you are looking for modern era scenarios, check out Unseen Masters or, better yet, Pagan Publishing/Arc Dream's excellent Delta Green campaign setting. The scenarios in this book are uninspired and aren't much good for anyone with even a modicum of experience as a gamemaster. If you are a beginning Keeper, however, you might get a few ideas from this book. The other flaw in this collection is that it contains a recurring motif, but nothing ever comes of the motif. It's just there - a bare connection between the scenarios that is never explained and which apparently means nothing. Very disappointing!

This is something to see.,
This review is from: Secrets (Call of Cthulhu) (Paperback)
This is an interesting little books. It as four short adventures in it. They are good for new players and well for those wanting something different. We are pulled into a world of dark mystery. If you like horror role playing. Then this collection is for you. All the tales for sure to bring a chill and a thrill to you.
