5.0 out of 5 stars A get rich quick scheme - no - A METHODICAL, REPEATABLE 'GET RICH' SYSTEM - YES!, September 21, 2008
For those of you looking for a 'get rich quick' scheme - look on. But for those of you looking for a system that extracts meaningful, potentially profitable ideas and ways to implement them, this book is for you!

The potential in these pages is unlimited, and it is unlike any other finance book out there - at least in my experience. Most of those other 'financial freedom' books assume your head's in the wrong place and they want to fix your thinking to help you 'feel more abundant.' Frankly, I'm tired of those although I agree with them in principle, I wanted a book that would give me solid HOW-TO tools. This book is that.

Through case studies, the authors make their points and then show you how to apply that concept to your own situation. It is pretty simple, straight forward and easy to implement. If you're not where you want to be financially, go ahead and do all the inner work you want, but when you're ready to figure out HOW to get it done, get this book!

5.0 out of 5 stars I Read The Book and It Increased My Income!, August 28, 2008
This review is from: Secrets To Creating Passive Income and becoming financially free (Books To Believe In) (Kindle Edition)
Someone dissatisfied felt this book did not help them. One quick comment than my results! Put it into action!

I myself began USING the information within this book and began to see an increase in money coming to me. The review is there to let you know about the book not the people writing about it.

I would challenge anyone to read one chapter and follow through with what the author is asking you to do than see if it works. Everyone is a critic yet put a little action behind it before you say anything. I have and I can show the success I had!

5.0 out of 5 stars It's not a secret - it's common sense! You can make money using the ideas in this book, August 27, 2008
I found the book Secrets to Creating Passive Income to be full of information, ideas and PRACTICAL APPLICATION. I found out about so many resources out on the internet (and around the block) that are willing to pay you for things that are easy to create or things you already have that you probably take for granted.

All you need to do is to first brainstorm your ideas using the methods outlined in the book, then organize and prioritize them (because you'll have more than you can possibly ever actually do). Then pick your 'lowest hanging fruit' or the one easiest to implement and get started. Some of the ideas have immediate returns.

This isn't the typical finance book teaching you where to invest stocks or real estate (in fact they barely touch on the subject except in passing) - instead, this book teaches you how to invest in yourself using your time and create things that are readily salable in today's marketplace by creating win/win situations. Note: If you want a stock or real estate investment book - don't buy this one.

If you want to create a money machine (or several money machines), then buy this book! You'll be glad you did. They guarantee it!

4.0 out of 5 stars The secret is actually doing the work, October 16, 2008
Secrets to Creating Passive Income outlines the ideas, then you actually have to do the work. Many of the authors' ideas are ones I've heard before, but thought I couldn't do. This book says "you can do it, and here's how."

I've started using some of the ideas that fit for me, like using affiliate programs, writing books and giving workshops. It's exciting every time I get an e-mail that says I've referred a sale! I'm finishing my first book and I've given several workshops. Workshops are my favorite and will be a great place to market other passive income products - books, workbooks, CDs.

While I'd like someone to give me a magic bullet that would start bringing in hundreds a day, this book actually tells me how to get started, and how to steadily build passive income over time.

5.0 out of 5 stars A brave new world... (or at least perspective) on making money, September 21, 2008
This review is from: Secrets To Creating Passive Income and becoming financially free (Books To Believe In) (Kindle Edition)
I liked it. It is a brave book to take on this topic this way.

I can see the potential in these pages and it is unlimited, but it is unlike any other finance book out there - at least in my experience, most of those assume your head's in the wrong place and they want to fix your thinking to help you 'feel more abundant.' Frankly, I'm tired of those and I liked this approach.

5.0 out of 5 stars Become recession-proof, implement the money-making ideas in this book!, March 14, 2008
This review is from: Secrets To Creating Passive Income and becoming financially free (Books To Believe In) (Kindle Edition)
This book is full of very doable projects to keep a flow of money coming in from several resources. In this time of an uncertain economy, you must take a look at income alternatives if you want to keep your home, fed and be able to afford the rising cost of gas!

The "Idea Fest" area of the book is a brainstorming tool that shows you just how rich in resources you already are! The resource section is well worth the price of admission.

Once you master this method of thinking about making income, teach it to your kids!!!

1.0 out of 5 stars Rubbish, August 28, 2008

Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Secrets To Creating Passive Income and becoming financially free (Books To Believe In) (Kindle Edition)
This is the first book I've ever returned to Amazon. In my opinion it's absolute rubbish.. and certainly not worth anywhere near the $24.95 price tag. I think the only "Financial Freedom" you're contributing to are the authors.

The ideas presented were seriously simple-minded. Like "write a book", "MLM", etc. And when they got into Stock Market or Real Estate investing, it basically told you nothing, and their recommendations are to either more of their books, their friends' books, or others through the publisher's website (via handy provided URL link).

Just be forewarned before ordering this book. Really not much substance to it at all.

Total Fluff.[...]

Note: the [...] is Amazon's censorship of my full review. Be wary of the other shill reviews.

5.0 out of 5 stars Secrets to Creating Passive Income and becoming financially free, December 5, 2010
I loved reading this book. Not only is it full of ideas for creating passive income but it gives you the tools to start on this journey using the resources you already have at your disposal. We are all looking for ways of making extra income. EJ Thornton and John Clark Craig have put forth a book equipped with great ways of teaching easy real-world passive income creation strategies to as many people as possible, to create wealth for all.
