great book
A great read, I have read many books about DDay and this had info i had never come across before.

Not so much
I heard rush limbaugh talking about this so i decided to get it cause i love Band of Brothers, The Pacific, Ambrose, etc. I was dissapointed in this book. there wasn't really a whole lot that i already didn't know (if you are a WWII buff)

Larry Collins does a wonderful job in shedding new light to weathered subject. The logistics and basic strategy of D-Day are widely known but Collins creates a intriguing tale to the Allies success.
