Secrets to Enliven Learning by Ann Petit is the perfect handbook for anyone who wants to learn the basics of a specialized skill-developing training manuals. It's a simple, effective, well-written, and practical guide for new and experienced trainers.Six months ago, I didn't know anything about how to train people. Then my manager asked me to write a training manual about new software used in my company. Someone recommended Secrets to Enliven Learning as a place to start. It made the basics of training very easy to understand and apply in my work, and I enjoyed reading it. I patterned my manual on what I learned from Secrets to Enliven Learning. The training manual is finished, and has been used by about 50 trainees. They all liked it and learned what they needed to know to use the software in an effective way. My manager was pleased with what I accomplished, and I'm seriously considering a move into the field of training. I highly recommend Secrets to Enliven Learning! |
