Reading this book was a boring endeavor and a big disappointment all the way to the last page. I have purchased the book based on the reviews in amazon. But after finishing the book I have my doubts about these reviews.

The author spends the first chapter attacking his critics. The following 30 pages are about what "women want". Which basically consist out of repeating the same: "Women want to be ravaged in the bedroom". The rest of the book consist of emails! Just emails! Hundreds of them. The emails are not discussed by the author. They are just there... All emails start with: "David, your are so great. I am glad I bought your products etc.."

The book does not fulfill what it promises. There are no techniques, no methods and the author is constantly promoting his products and his achievements in the bedroom, backed up with tons of boring emails which are all about how great David is.
Reading this book was a big disappointment and a waste of time and money. The author, David, proves that he has no respect for the readers and is only looking for personal approval and making money.

I'm confused by the number of 5 star reviews given to this book. I bought this book after reading many recommendations here on amazon and elsewhere on the web and there's no denying what a few of the other reviewers here have stated. It's boring and extremely light on the actual details of how to be a 'masterful lover'. One cannot overstate the fact that the bulk of the book consists of testimonials praising concepts that Shade barely even touches upon.

Then there are chapters written by special guest authors, mostly people who have also written books in the self-help relationship arena. I found these to be of little value as well. Lots of fluff. Nothing actually useful.

There's no 'how to' anywhere in this book. I kept turning pages thinking that surely the tone would settle down and there would eventually be something worthwhile. It remains vague and self-congratulatory throughout though.

Perhaps some of David Shade's other products are more substantive but I'd be hesitant to actually purchase them. If this is to be an introduction to the world of the 'masterful lover', then I'm not impressed.

I originally bought this book based on an Amazon recommendation without really reading about it. I assumed it was a book on being a pickup artist, but its actually more about what to do AFTER you're already in a sexual relationship. I learned a few things, but more importantly it reinforced some of the same bedroom techniques I've been using for years. For guys who want to take sex to the next level, this is a good book. I deduct a star because the author talks about the author a lot. A lot. But the concepts and techniques are still in there and worth a read.

There is something odd about The Bible. Every time God addresses Men in the Bible, he does it twice (e.g. Ex 3:2: "Moses, Moses" & Acts 9:4: "Saul, Saul").

Why is this? Simple answer: Men always need to be told everything twice!

And God has it easy - Women trying to tell Men about how to be good in bed, what they should read/ view & how they really aren't the Lothario they think they are? It falls on deaf ears. The World's most powerful Evangelists in their prime (including Dawkins), 50 Martin Luther-Kings (with megaphones & loud speakers) AND a fleet of airplanes (that could write it across all the skies of the World) couldn't get the message across.

Why are they so stubborn? Because (in the words of Jay Leno on Top Gear) "Sex is like driving a car; all men think they're good at it!"

Reading this book, I fell into this trap myself - my ego kept saying what a stud I was & how I didn't need ANY of this material. Had I been in a relationship at the time, it would have been even worse as the 'Just Be Yourself' routine would have stopped me learning anything at all. I also suggested this book to male friends & they were incredulous as to why I was even bothering to read it.

However, I'm so glad I continued reading & read all the emails of Women saying 'Help me to Help him!' & how they'd surely cheat if their Man didn't start listening & correct their behaviour. It really is an amazing revelation to see, with open eyes, one of the greatest causes of domestic strife in modern times (& probably a few World Wars!).
The sad & sorry truth is: Most Men are terrible in bed & (even worse) are unwilling to learn how to rectify it or even see it as a problem.

Women frequently buy this book (& 'How to Give Women Wild Screaming Orgasms') for their partners, read it themselves & then beseech their partners to do so. Few Men do & most have such fragile egos that they ignore the message. If only they had the humility to learn, they would find that the truth really does set you free; knowing how to make a Woman happy in bed is *crucial* to every relationship & knowing what an exquisite thing the feminine is, is to be a complete human being.

Imagine if everyone knew the techniques in this book. There's be fewer divorces. There'd be no Bad Boys 'sharking' around other people's marriages looking for homes to ruin. And the whole World would feel more happy, more complete & more fulfilled.

All this said, there are weaknesses to this book. The first (& most obvious) is that much of this book consists of lots of emails from Women one-after-another-after-another, with little or no input from the author. It's almost like Mr Shade has employed 'Polly Filler' from Private Eye to fill out the book to over 250 pages!

Furthermore, I noticed that Mr Shade uses a lot of his material from here in his newsletter & vice versa. This is mostly forgivable, but it can be a little annoying when you expect a brand new newsletter & find old material from this book. It's almost a disincentive for buying it.

That said, NO disincentive should dissuade people from buying this book. There is still an epic crisis out there & one of the few places you will find a remedy is within the pages of this book. Hopefully, one day all people will see this & Men will show themselves as the leaders they are born to be & fulfil their purpose in life.

So, to conclude, if you're a Woman, then please buy this for your Man (even if he is actually good in bed). I personally have even had female colleagues asking me for a copy & wanting to see mine, so you're not alone. Oh, and if you want to persuade your man, show them this review! ;)

If you're male, then I encourage you to buy this & discover what it really is to be a Man.

As for me? I'm buying a copy to put in my local pub...

He is very light on details. He lays out a theory, which is fine, but he never explains how to do all of the things that he says are important (orgasm on command, nipple orgasm, multiple orgasm, vaginal orgasm during intercourse, anal orgasm) All we get as readers are letters from other people saying how much his other techniques found in other books helped them.

Also irksome is the fact that most of the book is letters written by other people. Some input and testimonials from other people is fine, but he goes overboard.

Disappointing.

I started reading this book the day I received it and could not put it down...There were some things in this book I never even knew about.....I tried the deep spot technique on my wife....she loved it...I would like to thank David Spade and Amazon.com for this great book....

This book will start you on the journey of unlearning much of the mis-education that movies, romance novels, and what mommy and daddy didn't tell you or didn't feel comfortable telling or just didn't think you should know (Mommy's very guilty of that one). It's important to realize that women can be horn dogs too, but society has hard wired them to be very hush hush about it. I say it's a start because if you're single like me you're going to have to find ways to disengage the hard-wiring first. Shade also references other books that tell you a lot more about what exactly he means when he talks about Dirty Talk and things of the like. If you've got a wife or girlfriend and you're only doing missionary for the last six months, this is a great place to start.

I've been a follower of David's for quite a while and have most of his products. His insight into the needs of the female to feel fulfilled is above and beyond many in the field. This book should be required reading for any man who truly has the desire to understand how the mind of women works and what it takes to fulfill their needs. My only problem with the book is that almost half of it is copies of emails that David has received, mostly from women who are complaining about some aspect of the man or men in their lives. Sometimes full chapters are just emails. I understand the purpose was to give examples of what women are saying and sometimes to edify the author but I think he got a bit excessive.

Overall I found it enlightening and I will re-read it in the future but I will skip over most of the emails. C. O. Seattle, WA

Being a fan of David Shade I was motivated to read his new work. His thoughts and teachings are so monumental that my brother and Sister have incorperated his teachings on respect and trust in there dating lives, just by hearing me quote him in conversations. But having his first book and his DVD's this book really offeres nothing new, but instead is a testoment of his work with different couples. If your looking to start out on the path of a Masterful Lover that respects women, I would recomend reading his frist book The Secrets Of Female Sexuality, in my oppinion it is better written and more enlighting. Also most of his writtings from that book are reprinted here. Then look into his DVD's sold exclusively off of his web sight for the techniques needed to elevate your love life to the greatest level. But again David's work is to be implimented not just read so in truth no real new information is need. What ever book you get start learning, understand what women truthfully desire, impliment his teachings, play nice and learn to be a great lover.

Do not judge this book by its intriguing cover with a hot body on it. Normally as a general rule of thumb the more intriguing/enticing the picture on a book and/or title the worse the information in the book is. ANd boy is this clearly no exception.

This book is nothing more than e mails from other people saying how much he helped their lives . YOu know how his sexual methods helped them. Interestingly all e mails sound like they are written by the same person which I am sure they are. They are e mails written from people affiliated with the book I am sure...because no one would give this guy props on his methods.


I mean seriously this guy says how he hypnotizes women on the phone and how they come when he tells them to cum. Seriously not kidding. He says cum and on demand these ladies cum multiple times and they are not even touching themselves as they cum. Even it says in the book how how tells a woman to cum until he says stops and she came for an hour...almost comical. At this point I stopped reading the book and threw it in the garbage and wrote this review while fresh in my mind. In retrospect I should have burned it. Unforunately I did not read the review on this book. Clearly anyone who gives this a high star rating are affiliated with the book and are trying to sell it dont believe the good ratings.

In this book he constantly talks about how great he is with women and has others who apparently know him tell how great he is probably cause he needs that to sell his books because he knwos his info is garbage.

He talks about how great he is with women and how he turned down sex to get women mad at him . Yeah sure..if this guy had a chance to get laid hed be all over it. This guy couldnt get laid by star jones on a roofy let alone hot 19 year olds as he claims to have banged.

This guy is on nothing but an ego trip. He is a kreepy dude in every sense of the word. Even his picture on the back cover is kreepy. He looks like a pedophile or serial killer. No kidding! No one his wife divorced him and left him for a guy who rocked her world. This author is pathetic. To make matters worse he has other lame pathetic authors on the back cover with their pics promoting their dating/relationship books to help plug their own books. I can only guess his pic and book is being plugged in their books as well. A vicious cycle. Its all about helping other authors who are scammer making money.

Ultimately what is most disappointing about this book is it offers absolutely literally nothing about seduction and being a good lover...no tips about seduction, techniques about what to do to a women to make her orgasm or nothing. Alls is says throughout the book is be a man in the bedroom and take charge and have hot wild sex....with hundreds of e mails from "fans" and their lame stories about how thats true. Only tips are hypnotizing women and telling them to cum and they will...and stimulating the g spot to help orgasm....who doesnt know that.

I dont know how this guy ever got a publisher for his book...so sad. THe only books I have read and I have read a few that are good are ones by alan currie. that guy just makes sense and makes u feel good when u r done reading his book and the art of seduction by robert greene. dont waste ur money on this book.
