October 1, 2011

"Your one-stop shop for G-spot stimulation and female ejaculation. Truly, a fabulous book."  - Sonia Borg, Ph.D., M.A., M.P.H., author of Oral Sex She'll Never Forget and Oral Sex He'll Never Forget

"This is the must-read book for any woman interested in discovering the secrets of her G-spot. Tristan will teach you how to find and play with the spot for your ultimate pleasure." - Jordan LaRousse and Samantha Sade, authors of Penis Genius and Clitology

Experience the ultimate orgasm!

Proper stimulation of the G-spot can yield incredible orgasms and the unique and powerful experience of female ejaculation. However, unlike the clitoris, which is easily visible, the G-spot can be tricky to locate and takes skill to work it in just the right way. The Secrets of G-Spot Orgasms and Female Ejaculation demystifies this controversial erogenous zone with the latest techniques, positions, and toys for harnessing the power of the G-spot for incredible pleasure.

Leading sex educator Tristan Taormino presents the best positions, couple-play techniques, and solo exercises for maximizing G-spot stimulation, achieving female ejaculation, and having intense, full-body orgasms.

Step-by-step instructions for both men and women show how to give and receive mind-blowing sensations, create bed-shaking climaxes, and experience one of the wonders of female sexual pleasure—female ejaculation.

5.0 out of 5 stars For Any Womans Partner October 8, 2011
Format:Paperback
I only became acquainted with the works of Tristan Taormino recently and my accident. I was on Facebook and spelled a friends last name wrong...there was Tristan. I "liked" her page and started following her. Frequently I would visit PuckerUp.com. When there was a call for reviewers, I emailed her and was accepted. Needless to say, I was quite excited.
The Secrets of Great G Spot Orgasms and Female Ejaculation arrived from the publisher in a regular padded manila envelope. I took it in my room and locked my door to begin reading. No, I am not ashamed for reading such book...I am just a mom to five curious kids. I like read laying down, so I did and had my hot tea on my table next to my bed. Immediately, the book struck me as something everyone needs to read. The book has so much information from how to achieve full body orgasms, toy safety and cleanliness to how to ejaculate.
There are tips for achieving orgasm solo or partnered as well. Every so often in the middle of all the great instruction and tops were Erotic Interludes. The Erotic Interludes, are great erotic short stories. The photos in the books were very clear and fitting for where they were placed. My only complaint is the cover, the body resembles that of a pre-teen girl. Maybe a bit too much airbrushing.
Over all this book was fantastic and I do recommend for any adult involved in a sexual relationship with a woman and even for woman who have no partner.

3.0 out of 5 stars Solid intro book, but major flaws September 9, 2012
Format:Paperback
I found this book to be very redundant. There were useful points to be made, but it took TT three pages to express what could have been done in a bullet point or short paragraph. Moreover, a lot of topics were covered over and over again. For instance, explaining how to find your G spot and how to masturbate with your G spot were almost the exact same chapter written twice.

Things I did like:
- the book talked about what lubes to avoid and why; there was a lot of good detail about harmful chemicals, differences between types of lube, what the active ingredients are, etc. A++
- great instructions for anal play and how to do a preparatory enema
- quotes from real people at the beginning of each chapter (good diversity)

Things I didn't like
- The voice is incredibly inconsistent. Sometimes, the book addresses the reader as a female receptive partner with a male insertive partner, sometimes as a genderless insertive partner with a female receptive partner, and sometimes it's not clear. The back and forth is disorienting, and the language is not trans-inclusive (and a stretch to say queer-inclusive)
- I'd like fewer pictures of beautiful women with their mouths open in excstacy and more pictures of the toys and products the book is recommending. Also, it makes the book impossible to read on the metro.
