Tarron and Secret Jenkins have been together for eight years and married for five. Tarron is senior partner at an investment firm and doing very well. Secret is a stay at home mom to their two kids, Terrence and Tika. Although the couple love each other, Tarron is bored with his wife and has a gluttonous sexual appetite which he finds the remedy for in another woman's arms. You might say to yourself "so, what's new?"

Secret has a name that fits her so perfectly. This woman has some serious secrets that she has been hiding the entire time she has known her husband! So while Tarron is getting his groove on and making plans to change his life, Secret is busy having private meetings with her co-conspirator and stressing about what her husband is doing.
When Tarron gets angry one day and drops a bomb on Secret both their lives begin to spiral out of control changing everything and everyone around them.

There is so much to talk about in this story, which took me all of five hours to read. I couldn't put this book down! I am careful about what I have written so far because I don't want to spoil it for the other readers.
I will say there is an excellent cast of characters that bring tragedy, suspense, drama, and sex to this book. And with all the excitement in this story there is still one secret that Tarron doesn't know about yet...and by the end of the book I was beginning to feel sorry for Tarron.

This is Mr. Tremble's first novel and what an excellent job he did! I can't wait to get my hands on the sequel to this.

Who knows how to keep a secret? That hidden thing, done undercover; everyone involved is closed-mouthed, but when this secret is uncovered, other people are hurt and lives are inevitably changed.

Tarron and Secret started their relationship off lovingly, or so that is what we are led to believe. But as the years went by, and two sons later, those hidden things that have been there from the very beginning have no choice but to be revealed.

Time does not always heal wounds; it just gives space for secrets to fester and come out in ways that are not planned. Tarron found this out firsthand when his oldest son caught him with his love interest and held the knowledge over his head. In the meantime, Tarron tries to justify why he feels he can go out with the fellas, have his cake and eat it too.

But then his wife, Secret, has some secrets of her own, like why did she approach Tarron all those years ago? You know how the girls do when they hang out together, I dare you to dance with him, or I dare you to go up to that guy and kiss him.

Author J. Tremble has written a story that lets us know that all secrets are not to be kept hidden⦠sooner or later they will come to the light and life as you know it will be changed forever.

I see why this book made the Essence Magazine Best Seller List. It is pack with action, drama, Suspense and Sex. It is a little on the erotic side but a page turner for sure. J.Tremble delivers a five star must read. Tarron is a mess, but Secret has a few skeletons in her closet too, does Victoria really know what she wants... J.Tremble takes you in the world of Secret(wife),Tarron(husband), Victoria(Mistress)and Jay (Brother). The Characters and the events in this book will have you laughing, mad and at the end crying.

Secret finds herself in the same condition that she seen and told herself that she wasn't going to let go down. But love wins her over and she finds herself with a cheating lowlife husband that don't care about her at all.

Don't let the name Secret fool you because she had skeletons all up in her closet. But this was before she meet Tarron were the skeletons comes in. It comes down to betrayal and lies that really kicks the book off.

Jay and Tarron is best of friends until Jay gets caught up in the jail system and that when Tarron loses all respect for him. Things are not the same between the brothers.

I highly recommend this book and can't wait for the sequel. If you haven't read this book you are missing a great read that makes you hungry for more.

I really enjoyed this debut novel from J Tremble. Secret and Tarron Jenkins have a very troubled relationship. And as more and more "secrets" are revealed the DRAMA heats up! I am ready to start the sequel b/c the ending leaves you hanging!! Very good read and HOT intimate details!!! Loved it!!

This book was so good-- packed with secrets/drama and of course sex, and so detailed. Loved it. I would have been mad though if I had read this book when it was first released because he just left readers hanging to see what was going to happen next. Its a good thing that I already had a copy of "MORE SECRETS, MORE LIES, which I am currently reading. If you are looking for a good fast paced read buy this book!!!!!

'Loving' husband Tarron loves his wife Secret, but you wouldn't say that based on the lustful affair he's carrying on. Just when Tarron decided to give in to his selfish side and take up with his mistress, he learns that his wife has some "secrets" as well. I'd like to call them bombshell secrets -- because once they're exposed the events that follow shatters Tarron down to his very core.
Can Tarron get past his wife's secrets, while also realizing his faults and transgressions before it's too late. Read the book and find out, this one is definitely worth the ride.

definitely kept me on the edge of my seat because i was blown in several areas. lol secrets definitely proved to Tarron that she was not to be f**cked with. she proved to Tarron that she could be devious as well and had her own secrets that will shock da sh&% outta you. read it definitely worth your time. i actually am likein the second one a lil bit better so you know its a good read. lol and he kind of forces you to get part 2 because the way it ends you have to know what happened and i am just going to leave it at that

Secret handles Tarron's cheating ways like a pro but when she starts to live out her own fantasies she may not be ready for the consequences.

Secrets of a Housewife is a fascinating debut novel by J. Tremble. Tremble expertly gives readers a glimpse into the complicated life of a cheating spouse. From the very first page, this author throws you head-first into the risky and erotic world of Tarron and Victoria. This story isn't only about Tarron's infidelity but also the bombshell that his wife Secret needs to reveal. Readers will find that in this novel everything is not what it appears to be. There are so many exciting twists and turns to this story that you'll be begging for more once you read the very last page. Secrets of a Housewife is sexy and exhilarating. This is an explosive start to J. Tremble's writing career and the perfect lead-in to the sequel More Secrets, More Lies.

The book was excellent for this to have been the author's very first. I finished the book in 2 days and wanted more. It kept your attention from the very beginning until the end. Can't wait until his next book hits the stores!!!!!!!!!!!! Keep up the good work J. Tremble.
