I brought this audio home from a library sale, and what a gem! It introduced me to a new (for me) writer and narrator. This was one of the most memorable audiobooks I've listened to. Flawless (British) narration by Juanita McMahon. A soothing delivery and spot-on character voices. I'd put a CD on at bedtime and be transported to a place and time and people I could relate to. I see that Lesley Pearse isn't available on Kindle in the US. That's a shame. This audiobook is a treasure, if you find a copy. The one I have is from Clipper Audio and has an author interview on the last disk.
