I think I've read them all! Wonderful stories of people who have been to the Secret Place of prayer, entered higher realms in the Spirit, tasted the heavenly gift. They tell us where they've been, but they don't tell us how to get there.

And sometimes our hearts whisper, "I don't just want to go to that secret place of prayer, and I wouldn't know how to get there if I did. But I want to work in those realms with the Spirit of God. I want to be part of His plans and purposes in this hour of history. It's more than an experience, it's my job!"

God is building a mighty end time army, a people of prayer. It's a dream, no, a vision, of His that was dreamed before He laid the foundations of the world. That one day the whole earth would be filled with His Glory and that His Church would so love Him that she would work with Him to pray the Glory in.

Lynne and Patsy have been running the race with diligence and they have learned what the obstacles are that would oppose you as you finish your course. Furthermore, they are called and set apart to train you to be a pray-er. A pray-er is one whose life is a living prayer, working hand in hand with the Holy Spirit as He prepares the Bride for the Bridegroom. A pray-er is one who is on call 24/7 to work with the Spirit of God to lift up the broken hearted, and to intervene in the cataclysmic events that are being hurled at the inhabitants of the earth in this hour of history.

Secrets to Powerful Prayer not only encouraged me to press in to that call to prayer, I've found answers in this book when other books only formed the questions.

It is the natural progression to The Master is Calling, by Lynne Hammond. And I pray that it is the predecessor to another.

I have read many books on prayer (and have even written a few myself), but this is one of the best I've seen for getting into the practical essentials of prayer.
