I hardly have words to express the blessing this book has been to my life. Reading about the prophetic is not new to me but this book was one of the most refreshing and faith inspiring books I've come across in a long time. Kim combines his life story, which is most interesting and encouraging, with solid bibilical teaching on the prophetic. Yet, it is not your usual prophetic fare as it reaches beyond the norm in seeking out bibilical truths about how God operates and seeks to communicate with us. In addition, Kim's writing style is down to earth, easy to understand and digest. But, please don't misunderstand his simple writing style for simple content. This book is stuffed with page after page of profound and life affecting statements, from which you will not walk away unchanged.

This was one of the best book I have ever read. I give Kim Clement 5 Golden stars for the "Secerts of the Prophetic". It gave me such an insight of the world of the Prophetic. I recommend anybody that wants to know more about the Propheric to read this book.

Secrets of the Prophetic was a good read. I like this author and am encouraged by his life and how he opens up areas of thought and truth that I have not considered before. I recommend to anyone who wants to grow and learn to listen for God's voice.

I couldn't put this book down! It helped me understand more about the prophetic ministry and confirmed so much of what I had seen and felt. This is a must read for those called to prophetic ministry or those with questions about it.

God is awesome....and sometimes in the prophetic we can feel like we have missed it and blown it and then the enemy comes in to torment us, even as the Lord is using us powerfully to bring His will to the earth and set captives free....Kim's book was very freeing for me. I don't feel so confused about events I have encountered when God has used me to speak or interceed for others. I have more confidence and I'm more willing to go out on the limb, knowing God can fix my blunders. It is after all , His plan and I can only do what He anoints me to do. He is more pleased if we get out of the boat ,like Peter, even if we begin to sink, than if we play it safe and never obey the still small voice of the Lord...and be bold and courageous and do the works He prepared in advance for us to do on the earth.

Kim Clement's book is a powerful testimony of God fulfilling his promises. Although the book is titled 'Secrets of the Prophetic' I find that after reading it, that what sticks with me the most, is Kim's life story (how God came through for him and transformed his life). The bible tells us in Revelation 12:11 that "They overcame him [the accuser] by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony." Clement's testimony of how God changed his life, is a powerful tool in overcoming the enemy. After reading what Clement went through and all the miracles and supernatural events he experienced, we can't help but have our faith strengthened!

Kim Clement was a drug-addict and hopelessly depressed. It took getting stabbed and the help of a good samaritan to redirect his life onto God's path. He started attending church and got baptised. God promised him that he would become a minister and that he would not go to the grave without all his family members being saved. Kim's relationship with God grew and grew and God called him to be a prophet. Kim goes on to share with us some insights on prophecy based on scripture and his own experience in the ministry some of which include:

-God's voice is not a new phenomenon - He has been speaking since creation. He spoke the world into existence.
-There came a point in history where the people no longer wanted to hear God's voice because they were afraid of what He was saying.
-God stopped speaking to people directly, and instead spoke through His priests and prophets. Heaven was, in a sense, closed to the ordinary individual.
-When Jesus came to Earth and was baptised, the Heavens were open once again. (See Matthew 3:16-17)
-God can speak audibly, but most of the time He speaks from Spirit to our spirit.
-God can appear in many different forms and we must learn to recognise this. (Through an angel or a man for example) It takes perceptivity to recognise His voice through the form He has sent.
-Prophecy is primarily for the church.
-God can change His mind. For example if there has been a prophecy of danger or harm, and we repent (as Ninevah or Hezekiah in the bible did) God can cancel the prophecy.
-There are conditions to prophecies. We must accept them in faith and be obedient. If we choose to disobey God the prophecy may not come true.
-And many more revelations...

I really enjoyed reading this book, but give it only 4 out of 5 stars as I found some of the book difficult to understand with parts of it not soaking in. However despite the 1 missing star, I still found it to be an excellent read, especially the autobiography content interwoven into the book (which really drew me in). I feel the book is about much more than just prophecy, but about having a dedicated relationship to the Lord. Most of all the book has encouraged me and demonstrated how God keeps His promises, even if they take years to be accomplished. God is true to His Word.

Kim Clement is a great prophet. If you want to learn more of God and seek him read this book.

Kim Clement has very humbly decribed his experiences and outlined the very mechanism by which God reveals His thoughts to man. Being part of a prayer & deliverance spiritual warfare team it is very important to hear from God and to follow His voice. The principles given by Kim clearly coincides with what our ministry is involved in doing. They really work!

Even 15 years ago, Prophet Kim Clement was a powerful prophet of God! His journeys here in this book are amazing and encouraging. Read!
