3.0 out of 5 stars Short book, crammed with too much filler.
I must say that I was disappointed with this book. It has some great advice in it, but you have to shift through too many "testimonials" talking about what a great technique this is by people who've used it. Plus you get to read about what a fantastic lover Tom is. Everything after page 75 is worthless, and the story of how he discovered this technique is a pointless...

I had only met one woman in my life who was a natural "squirter." I was amazed at such a phenomenon and never experienced this again with anyone else. Passing through an airport to make a connecting flight I picked up this book on the run, intrigued by the reference to "female ejaculation." I was on my way to visit my girlfriend who lives in another country. On the long flight I read through the book twice and when I arrived at my destination, I was able to introduce my girlfriend to a part of herself she never new existed. I tried it again. She was able to ejaculate again. This worked nearly every time! And each time she was capable of coming, without control, over and over again. I could not believe what as happening. It is a miracle that a technique like this has been discovered and described so perfectly. I am about to buy six copies to give to my closest friends. What a wonderful secret club to belong to!

5.0 out of 5 stars Superlative Sex Manual for Men, May 12, 2001
By
This review is from: Secrets of Sensual Lovemaking : The Ultimate in Female Ecstasy (Paperback)
There are some pathetic sex books out there, like "Five Minutes to Orgasm" which tells women they can stimulate their own clitoris during intercourse to "come quickly" like a man (FuhDuh! Who needs to be told this lowest-common-denominator truism?)-- and the "Good Vibrations Guide to the G-Spot," a chirping, matter-of-fact grab-bag of notions on how you can use a vibrator, a sharpie marker, a hair brush handle, "a friend" [!] or a lesbian pal to touch your G-Spot. The opposite is Tom Leonardi's *masterpiece*, which is the best $5 you'll ever spend on yourself. In the age where the lowest-common-demoninator abnormal has become normal and counselors refuse to have any ideals or standards, for sex or anything else, this book is a gem. Passionate, explicit prose is highly arousing, grave, and specific, in regard to technique and sequencing. But things like EMOTION, eye-contact, and the man controlling the encounter are emphasized even more. Leonardi has some stern words for the Mr. Spock or "sexual athlete" who thinks mechanical technique can be used in a vacuum, and likewise for the average man who, propagandized by feminism, allows the woman to control the timing and sequencing of the encounter (which prevents her from attaining the level of excitement required to have an ejaculatory orgasm.) Leonardi describes in lucid detail how to pull off the gentle but firm male dominance that nature intended. (As an aside, another part of the technique involves building her excitement and frustration level until she can't stand it anymore-- recognising that women, too, need the "thrill of the chase"-- romantic buildup, an exquisitely executed tease, instead of a desperate, needy man who rushes through the encounter. If the woman you're with really loves you and you follow Leonardi's advice, you're sure to get the results the book promises. If you like this book, check out another superlative sex book, _The Joy of Uncircumcising!_ by Bigelow.

Here's what I find almost supernatural: How could Leonardi, no matter how experienced or perceptive, learn so exactly how a woman needs to be touched? It's almost as if he has the power to read women's minds. I would have suspected he's really a woman-- except his viewpoint is unmistakably masculine. No mistake-- you can trust this advice from a guy born with an unusual gift for understanding women and sex.

5.0 out of 5 stars AN ANSWER TO WORLD PEACE!!!, July 31, 1999
By A Customer
This review is from: Secrets of Sensual Lovemaking : The Ultimate in Female Ecstasy (Paperback)
Well, if Mr. Leonardi needs a new publicist I may be his man... umm...woman. Leonardi has provided a practical hands on (literally!) guide, as well as offering his limited, yet effective, knowledge into understanding a woman's psyche. It's a double lane highway you must travel but, the rewards... oh my... the rewards *sigh* I read this book for the first time, Christmas of 1997. I led my significant other to it after having perused the quick read myself. I considered the man (that would be Leonardi, not my boyfriend) to be a pompous ass... but the 'idea' intrigued me. One book changed my life... and changed his life too. I had never been to the places this technique has taken me nor smiled and laughed in aferglow as I have since rolling thru this multi-orgasmic experience. (Having always been a multi-orgasmic woman this is saying A LOT! I had to quit counting at 13 the first time... it was expending too much valuable energy concentrating on what number I was on!!) And him? Well, he now gazes at me in amazement as the Goddess he now understands me to be... and is convinced he holds the power to release 'her' in the palm of his hands... well in his fingers... and he's pretty darn accurate! SO... I am a born-again Leonardi groupie. I am online right now ordering my 14th copy to give as a gift. My personal belief is if we could give every leader of every warring faction a copy of this book... and a woman he could share it with, World Peace would be imminent. Everyone would be so happy... so busy smiling... so full of themselves and the power that all we Gods and Godesses have here on earth... there would be no need, nor time, for war. (Everyone sing- ./' ./' ./' Let there be peace on earth and let it begin with me ./' ./' ./') Well, a girl could hope... Simply put... try it, you'll like it ;) Can you rate it more than 5 stars? It's a must for every man's library. Ladies... run... walk... just get a copy to the man in your life. You'll be oh so glad you did. This is a book HE has to read. Think he won't? Give him a little credit... or a gentle push... leave it on his night stand... be subtle... be in your face... Do like I did and read it to/with him. (I read out loud all the high points... he finished it on his own) It's worth the effort... and guaranteed to change your life... Men! Be careful... this could make the women in your life suffer from an obsessive/compulsive disorder... they will never be able to get enough of this!! or you!!! You've been warned... now... go... enjoy... and smile ;)

5.0 out of 5 stars MEN, DON'T READ THIS BOOK!, August 16, 2005

This review is from: Secrets of Sensual Lovemaking : The Ultimate in Female Ecstasy (Paperback)
If you don't want great sex gentlemen, then please don't read this book. I do sexual counseling, mostly for women because I work for an OB/GYN office, for low libido or orgasm issues. As a medical professional, this book was extremely informative. For instance, Mr. Leonardi talks about massaging the lower gluteal (butt) area & explains how this gently "pulls" on the vaginal area which causes indirect stimulation. He is medically correct, not to mention that it will also "mentally" arouse her (very important guys). He also talks about "patterns" & emphasizes to not follow your pattern of lovemaking. Psychologically speaking, he is oh, so very on the mark! I know some reviewers thought this small paperback was nothing more than a way for Mr. Leonardi to get his exploits on paper for public viewing, but i must disagree strongly. I found it to be very interesting, specific, medically & psychologically correct. And no, I have never met the author. It also is a very easy read (took me 45 minutes). He is using layman's terms, so if you want something that reads like a medical book, good luck! I don't think you will find one. You see, most Gynecologists don't know there is such a thing as female ejaculation. It is not taught & finding a conference that talks about it & has continuing medical education credits, is virtually non existent. In my 20 yrs of nursing, I just found my first continuing ed. seminar on women's sexuality & health that offers credits. So, in my opinion, this is an essential read for men & women. It is a great value, informative & if nothing else....it just might get you a little excited about having sex, so READ IT! I mean, cmon, what could it hurt, it's just a book....CB,RN

5.0 out of 5 stars A hugh surprise - be sure to get this book., July 22, 1999
By A Customer
This review is from: Secrets of Sensual Lovemaking : The Ultimate in Female Ecstasy (Paperback)
My husband and I have been married for ten years and sex had become very routine. I went to the book store to try to find something new. I read the book and gave it to my husband. He did not believe the book, until we tried it. The type of orgasm achieved using this book is the most intense experience. It is completely satifying. After being stimulated by hand, I am able to have multiple orgasms with him inside me. I never thought that was possible. Try this book.

4.0 out of 5 stars Surprising, June 27, 2006
By
Simon Foster (Clapham, London, UK) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Secrets of Sensual Lovemaking : The Ultimate in Female Ecstasy (Paperback)
My girlfriend always says everything's fine in bed, but I thought that I'd surprise her with a few new techniques. I've never bought a book like this before, but when I read it I thought it was extremely frank and dealt with the subject matter in a honest and unpretentious way.

When I was reading them I thought a lot of the suggestions sounded pretty simple, though I think my girlfriend was a little too surprised at a few of them when I subtly had a go over the weekend. I suppose I'd have to say perhaps this book is best when read together with a partner, or at least if she knows you've read it, or she might think you're doing something wrong. So, always get permission first, or at least explain what you're about to do, and that could help prevent any misunderstandings. But, at the end of the day, that's ultimately the message behind these books - it's all about communication. And I think that's really all we need, which is to talk more, so now I know more about what she does and doesn't like, and I think we're closer as a result.

5.0 out of 5 stars I am so pleased with the technics in the book. They work!!!, May 19, 1999
This review is from: Secrets of Sensual Lovemaking : The Ultimate in Female Ecstasy (Paperback)
Last night I was with my lover for the first time in a month and a half. During the time apart I read the book twice as recommended. We were so excited to be together. I followed the proceedures and in no time she was relaxed like the you said she would be. I was lucky that we trust each other with our lives. It was so easy that I was surprised that she had so many ejaculations and I was not very aware that things wer going so well. She had I believe three ejaculatory orgasms. When we were finished she looked like she was on another planet. She stated that she never knew she could feel this good. I was totally proud of what I had helped her achieve. Thanks very much, J.B. 5.0 out of 5 stars AN INCREDIBLE BOOK you'll want to share with a friend!!!, March 14, 1999
By A Customer
This review is from: Secrets of Sensual Lovemaking : The Ultimate in Female Ecstasy (Paperback)
My husband and I read Tom's book, and were both equally impressed. My husband enjoyed the book because it was a quick read, to the point, Tom's technique sounded like fun, and was worth a shot. I appreciated Tom's insight, sensuality and intuitiveness regarding a woman's emotions and needs. I've read other G-Spot books which read like clinical texts, whereas Tom's approach was sensual and honest. I truly didn't think I could achieve the "ultimate G-Spot orgasm" - but boy, was I wrong!!! The method in this book really works - it added a new dimension to our lovemaking. Thanks Tom!!!

This book is a truely great read, its simply written, short and to the point. Its a very informative read because not only does Tommy discuss what you need to do physically he also outlines how to act in order to allow your woman slip into a level of comfort with you that will heighten the intimacy of the sexual experience no end. Its great.

Tommy Leonardi basically discovered the G-spot on his own, by accident. He is apparently a master at stimulating it until women have Earth-shaking, ejaculatory orgasms.

The technique itself is simple and has been described in many other places. What I like about this book is Leonardi's insistence on patience and building connection so that the woman feels comfortable and safe enough to let herself go into an incredibly intense experience over which she has little control.

Unfortunately, Leonardi goes into long stretches of giving specific orders to do one thing or not do another. He makes it sound like a strict protocol instead of a creative sharing.

I bought Secrets of Sensual Lovemaking as research for my next book, Hotter Safer Sex, which is about non-intercourse forms of sex. I'm glad I read it; it taught me a few new things and validated much of what I already knew. I think there's a lot more to Sensual Lovemaking than this book presents, but I also think anybody who reads it will be glad they did.

David Spero RN, author of The Art of Getting Well (Hunter House 2002) and Diabetes: Sugar-coated Crisis - who gets it, who profits, and how to stop it (New Society 2006) both available on Amazon.
