Good read but...,

The book was good, lots of drama to keep you going, but there were way to many grammar errors. I couldn't concentrate on the story sometimes because I couldn't understand what was being said between misspelled words and missing words. Overall the story itself was still good.

In Secrets, Sins and Shameful lies you have to be ready to focus your attention on what is going on in the story. The chapters switch back and forth between the characters so you have to be aware of what is taking place or you will be lost. It leaves you turning the page to find out what scheme, prank, relationship or ordeal will happen next. It is full of drama, neck rolling, and girl I got your man. Be ready for the adventure.

Thank you for calling Synergy Wireless. My name is Toni, how may I assist you? You're looking for Nicole? Well she's kind of busy right now running behind Jason. Despite trapping him with a baby and a marriage of inconvenience, she's still not done with her home wrecking and backstabbing ways. Kendra? I'm sorry, she's not available either. She's trying to decide which team she wants to play for. You know that Gia girl turned her out. Carmell? You said you want to speak with Carmell? She's not in today. She's off wondering how to get Louis back with his trifling self even though she has a better man, a good man, that loves her dearly. Some women, I tell you! You need Natina then? I'll have to take a message. You know she's pregnant, right? Yep, by Louis. Go figure. I don't know why she wants him anyway. She'll learn. They'll all learn! But you ain't heard none of that from me. Again, thank you for calling Synergy Wireless, where drama...I mean you...are our number one priority!
DeiIra Smith Collard delivers a worthy sequel. She measures out just enough drama to keep us wanting more. "Secrets, Sins and Shameful Lies" perfectly defines this novel. Collard has written an enjoyable page-turner. My only complaint: the editing. Reviewed by: Toni |
