This is a great little book! A wonderful introduction for anyone who's interested in how sound can heal and transform (which should be almost everybody since the is such an important and far reaching subject). Goldman's a pro and obviously knows his material. He has the ability to make difficult information accessible to novices and beginners. Yet each "Secret" contains some treasure of knowledge and understanding that even the most seasoned sound healers will find significant and useful. The book is clear, concise and easy to read. It was fascinating and fun. And the CD that's included with it contains some really beautiful music. Full of exercises, techniques and truths that can change your life, THE 7 SECRETS OF SOUND HEALING is highly recommended.

The book is so interesting, I had never heard of Sound Healing before so, this was all very new to me. He explains how it works in a very simple way that makes it easy for anyone to understand. The CD is wonderful, all I have to do is press play and I instantly start to relax and before I know it I'm sleeping. If you want to learn more about healing (both spiritually and physically) outside of Western Medicine than this will be an interesting read for you as well.

This review is specifically regarding the Kindle edition of this book. Although the cover artwork and the write up says it comes with a CD it does not. I expected an MP3 download of the CD but there is no such thing. I contacted Amazon and they said it does not come with a CD regardless of what the cover or the book itself says. As a result the book only has limited value without the audio portion. If you just want to read the book fine, if you want to hear the audio portion you are going to have to buy the actual book.

In this delightful, easy to read, gem of a book, Jonathan Goldman shares his many years of experience in sound healing techniques. A well known and respected foremost wisdom teacher, Jonathan writes as if he were taking with a friend. Whether you are a seasoned energy worker, sound healer or a novice, this book will inform and inspire. Additonally, this little masterpiece is interactive, offering on the spot simple and fun exercises to provide experiential learning opportunities. The CD that accompanies the book, is likely one of the most appealing of Jonathan's music creations to date and perfectly demonstrates what he imparts to the reader.

This is a great little introduction for anyone who's interested in how sound can heal, written by a pro who has brought over twenty-five years of experience, research, and teaching together. He shares wisdom from ancient sacred texts, practical exercises and transformational testimonies. The music CD that accompanies this book is lovely and soothing. The seven secrets are:

1. Everything is vibration.
2. Intent is powerful.
3. We are unique vibratory beings.
4. Silence is golden.
5. Our voice is the most healing instrument.
6. There are many notes in a scale.
7. Sound can change the world.

However, I did find the book a little basic for my own personal taste, so only three stars. Actually, there were so many great reviews on this site that I was left wondering what I was missing and also somewhat reluctant to cast a damper, especially since so many of you really don't like to see bad reviews. My reason for posting this review now is that I learned from Goldman's new book "The Divine Name" (published 2010) that he was in fact keeping back a much more powerful process of sound healing received intuitively - the divine sound of God. This was because he had been taught all his life that the real name of God must be kept hidden. It took some years for him to understand that the suppression of this divine sound - for millennia - has been for reasons of control of the masses.

After much consideration and consultation with others that he trusted, Goldman finally felt able to share this with all seekers after truth. Therefore I recommend "The Divine Name" rather than this somewhat simplistic and theoretical book.

[Later note: Also impressed with the new mental/emotional/physical healing process explained in "The Healing Code" by Loyd/Johnson/Eble. There are hundreds of personal successes listed in the reviews here on this book. The supplement Papaya 35, a super concentrate with fermented pawpaw, is also promising.]

Even if you are new to the idea that our emotions have a direct impact on the state of our health, and that of our surroundings, this book will give you tools to help open your eyes, EARS, and your heart.
