This booklet will definitely do the trick if you are looking for a quick rundown on all the major ins and out of blogging. If you're thinking about taking the plunge, I recommend it.

If you are already pretty savvy in this area, you probably won't be looking for insights in a booklet like this. Even so, there's always something new to learn, and this one had more than few worthwhile nuggets for me.

Although I'm a marketer, I'm a novice at blogging. I'd read info from other people's websites (including Ted's) to set up my website the [...] and write my blog [...] (That's The Public Interest). Then, I realized I had no idea how to drive traffic to my sites. I was crestfallen. Now that I've read Ted's book, I have hope again! Wow! There are so many ways to make your site work -- this little book is this biggest help I've found to boost readership! Thank you, Ted! And no, Ted's not paying me money -- just great ideas from his book!

When this puny, 1/4 sized, 40 page hand-out arrives you'll kick yourself for having spent $7 plus shipping.

Unless you live in a cave and have never heard of blogging you won't find any "secrets" in this pamphlet. SAVE THE $7.

Ted knows his stuff. I enjoyed this helpful booklet and learned quite a bit in the short time I took me to read it. Although I've been "studying" blogging for several years now, there is so much to learn and consider, so having a guide like this is very helpful.

Nice size too. I have lots of hardcover books on my shelf that I never get around to, but this size is just right for a quick read. Recommend!Secrets of Successful Blogging

It's more of a booklet than a book but is a quick read and is full of useful info and links to more useful info. A good read for busy people who want to learn more about blogging. Well worth it!

"Secrets Of Successful Blogging" is a valuable, minute-a-day devotional for reflection and refocusing on what makes a blog significant and useful. I found this a very useful companion to "What No One Tells You About Blogging & Podcasting", another of the author's books. It's a handy aide de memoir, reminding you of the little things that can be easily overlooked as your blogging efforts become consumed with sourcing and developing content. The format is much like a blog - easily digested, bite-size chunks of encouragement, experience, and advice. And, it's small enough to fit easily into the sleeve of your day-timer for handy access.

What many don't realize when they begin blogging is that there's much more to it than simply writing content. Secrets of Successful Blogging illustrates that point by providing an expert collection of vital knowledge for ensuring the success of a business blog. As the tag line states, the book includes "101 tips for blogging more efficiently, effectively, and profitably." The tips provided are a compilation of information provided by professional bloggers interviewed during the course of writing two of Ted's other books, Blogging for Business and What No One Ever Tells You About Blogging and Podcasting.

Rather than going into elaborate details on the topics included in Secrets of Successful Blogging, Ted provides an overview of the multitude of considerations that should be taken into account when blogging. Included are many short tips that act as a great point from which to get started on a new blog or for improving an existing blog. As Ted states in this book, "a few minor changes can often change a good blog to a great blog."

Examples of topics Ted covers include: aspects of planning and designing your blog; what type of content to include in your blog; how to build traffic through free promotion opportunities via unapparent sources, search engine optimization, and RSS feed options; and explicitly profiting through your blog with e-books, audio products, and more.

In short, Secrets of Successful Blogging covers all the key blogging information that will likely take you many months -- potentially years depending on your background -- of experience to learn. It is a convenient reference guide that offers insight into the tools and strategy necessary for any blog to maximize its utility and to be effectively used for promoting and supporting your business.

This may be the "biggest little book" on blogging this year.

Don't let the diminutive size of this 40 pager fool you. This bad boy is crammed full of at least 12 sections that chew up the meat and spit out the bones of the ins and outs of blogging.

Ted concisely addresses the elements key to blogging success like planning, design, effective publishing, writing, traffic issues, publicity, search engine optimization, supporting your blog, profitability and a plethora of other tips and tricks.

You don't get input from guys like Seth Godin and props for James Mlinchak, unless you know what your doing.

Disclaimer, I get absolutely nothing from the sales of Ted's book. The reader on the other hand, gets a lot!
