Secrets of the Time Society is a brilliantly written Short Story! It starts off with Michelle Windsor in the present and goes back in time to reveal someone in her past that finds out the truth about Michelle and wants to stop her! I would love to see more from Rebecca Windsor's prospective on what happened and if she was able to follow through with her plan to get rid of Michelle! Fantastic book that I recommend for all to read especially if you read and loved Timeless!

From the very first word, had me HOOKED! I suggest to readers to read this book for the next installment. Questions are answered and new questions arise for Timekeeper. I can't wait to read Michele's father's story because was made to look like the bad guy. If you are wondering about her father, read this! This was soooo amazing! I hope that Michele and Phillip get their HEA, though I think Alexandra will make a third book.

What could such a scary and strange dream mean? Sixteen-year-old Michele wakes up startled in her grandparents' mansion.

Secrets of the Time Society is a bridge, a short story, interesting on its own. It adds information and tension to the novel Timeless, answering some of the questions presented there. It also prepares readers for the next novel in the series expected to be published later this year.

This tale introduces a villain, Rebecca, an antagonist to match Michele. Readers now worry a bit more for the heroine. Rebecca is devious and selfish. She's smart and could seriously hurt Michele's chances of happiness. Her character is clearly drawn, making it easy to visualize her and her nature.

The fantasy setting of the Time Society's headquarters is done well. It's remarkable and descriptive. We meet other time travelers. What's also attention grabbing for those who have read Timeless is the revisitation to a scene from that book, but from the perspective of the new antagonist.

It's a good little story, and the new developments set things up for the next book in the series. While I would have liked to have had a chance to see a bit more of Michele and Philip, this story was obviously meant to introduce Rebecca. Readers will just have to wait to see if they find each other across time again. Having read the first book, the second novel is greatly anticipated.

For a ten-minute or so read filled with twists, check out Secrets of the Time Society. But I recommended you first read the wonderful novel that comes before it, Timelesss, to get a full appreciation of how this all came about and where it might be going.

*Beware of possible Spoilers*

I loved it, to say the least. The 25 page short story is jam packed with information. Many of my questions were answered.

We are in Rebecca Windsor's head. In Rebecca's story, she is a vain and devious woman. She is introduced to the founder of the Time Society and learns the origin of her gift and how to better use it. She loses and then regains a key through nefarious means. Rebecca is willing to do anything to keep her gift, no matter the cost. Her character is fully developed in the prequel. We get to know her well and it's not pretty. I expect she will pop up again to cause as much damage as possible.

We don't learn much about Michelle other than the reason Rebecca hates her so. I hope Michelle is up to the challenge of dealing with Rebecca.

Anyone who loved Timeless will love this novella as well. I was mad when it ended; I want more! It whet my appetite for the sequel; I'm off to read Timekeeper.

:) great transition read from book one to the sequel. Quick easy read that fills a lot of the gaps that would occur if you went right from one to two.
