I bought this tape years ago from Media Play, and it was an orignal piece (filmed in 1988). This was the most haunting and other-worldly trip to the past I've ever seen regarding a subject like the Titanic. This film includes real testimony from three passengers who were on board--Lilly Goodwin (third class and speculative, since she and her entire family died on board), J.B. Ismay (Chairman of the White Star Line, first class--survived), and Fredrick Fleet (crewmember--survived, and the man who was actually the first person to see the iceberg); their stories told through good actors dressed-up in period costume and filmed on board the Queen Mary in Long Beach, CA. This tape also contains interviews from several surviors alive at the time, as well as an interview with Robert Ballard (the man who found the ship in 1985).

Some of this series' episodes were somewhat hoaky, but this episode really was top-notch.

A MUST SEE for those who want to swim in the mystical and ghostly myths and stories surrounding this great ship,

and probably Secrets of the Unknown's best episode.

This movie is awesome!A classic movie that everyone should see at least once.Leonardo DiCaprio and Kate Winslet did a great job on the movie and made it come to life!
