more great work from Farrell,

This review is from: Secrets of the Unified Field: The Philadelphia Experiment, The Nazi Bell, and the Discarded Theory (Paperback)
This is the latest book from Joseph P. Farrell, one of the best authors ever to grace the alternative science/history genre. I discovered Farrell by accident when I encountered a copy of part of his Reich of the Black Sun online. I was so impressed by his knowledge, insight, and ability to put strange ideas in perspective, I immediately began buying everything he had written. (Amazon loves me. Trees, on the other hand.......) This combination of research skill, insight, and ability to synthesize knowledge is extremely rare, and reminds me of such greats as G. Harry Stine, John Campbell, Richard Milton, or Robert Anton Wilson. If you want to understand some of the more hidden agendas in our society today, start with Farrell. He will give you a firm grounding in this knowledge and how to approach it, and will save you a great deal of time wasted on blind alleys, kooks, and disinformation.
This book relates his research into the connections between the Nazi "Bell" experiments, Einstein's "discarded" 1928 Unified Field Theory, and the Philadelphia Experiment. With his usual depth and perceptive investigation, Farrell takes us through the fog of disinformation, misinformation, and just plain silliness surrounding these issues, and weaves a convincing set of arguments based on verifiable documentation and scientific knowledge. He deftly ties together the Nazi "Bell" research from his previous books with the 1928 version of the Unified Field Theory that Einstein subsequently withdrew for reasons of "incompleteness." Also blended into the mix is the first solid account I have read of the Philadelphia Experiment, which is deeply hidden in myth, disinformation, and coverup. (For those not up to speed, the Philadelphia Experiment is shorthand for a series of "stealth" experiments the U.S. Navy did with a ship called the Eldridge during World War II, designed to make it invisible to radar, but having much more profound effects, such as optical invisibility and dimensional instability.) Farrell does his usual great job of presenting the research in a very orderly manner, building his case bit by bit from very solid sources. He documents, cites, and references his sources in a manner that puts most researchers to shame. From the super secret halls of Nazi physics to the doctored records of the U. S. government, Farrell leads us through the maze of noise and helps the true "signal" of the story stand out far more clearly. The details of this work are far too many to list here, but include declassified goverenment documents, forgotten and doctored ships' logs, obscure and forgotten scientific papers, firsthand witness reports, patents, and other such solid evidence. All of it filtered and synthesized with a keen sense of true scientific process and balance into a coherent picture of hidden history. The only fault I can find in Farrell's work is a common one in publishing these days - typos of the kind caused by too much dependence on computer spell-checkers, i.e. sound alike words such as "cite," "site," and "sight" being used incorrectly. I will also say that the number of such errors I find has continually decreased over the course of his books, which says to me that the proofreading is getting better. (Something we can all improve upon.) While sometimes causing momentary confusion, these are minor inconveniences and have not impeded my understanding of the text at all. As always, one walks away from Farrell's books with one's mind reeling from the sheer amount of information, as well as the staggering consequences of his conclusions. There is so much more going on in this world than we "common folk" are being told, and Farrell gives us some much needed light on the tip of that strange, scary, and wondrous iceberg. Things are NOT the way we have been told. Farrell is the current "gold standard" in alternative research, in my humble opinion. His previous books: The Giza Death Star The Giza Death Star Deployed The Giza Death Star Destroyed (All three covering the Great pyramid as an ancient weapon of mass destruction.) Reich of the Black Sun The SS Brotherhood of The Bell (Both covering secret Nazi research into extremely advanced physics.) The Cosmic War (About the use of the pyramid weapon and the exploded planet hypothesis.)

This review is from: Secrets of the Unified Field: The Philadelphia Experiment, The Nazi Bell, and the Discarded Theory (Paperback)
This is the first Farrell text I've read based upon Hoagland's commentary regarding the author's approach to history. I was so impressed w/ his methodology and presentation that I've now ordered the remainder of his books. The author probably overly constrains himself to highly credible sources in which he provides a rather thorough analysis. This rules out any metaphysical information, and probably some textual sources which may be semi credible. This book is principally (1) a cursory overview of the unified field theory as presented by Einstein in 1928, (2) it's subsequent application via key players to the Philadelphia experiment, and (3) it's concurrent application in Nazi Germany via the Nazi Bell experiment. The author does a rather thorough job of analyzing the credibility of (1) the Allende letters to Jessup and (2) the annotated Vero Edition in which the Navy marked up Jessup's book and actually published the marked up text in a very limited form. This to me just seems really strange. He compares this Vero edition and these letters to Berlitz and Moore's subsequent book in the 1970's along w/ a couple of other sources. The evidence seems to imply that Allende's testimony probably was real. Farrell also shows how he became interested in this topic via a book that was supposed to be published, but never was and in which the authors just seem to have disappeared along w/ their book somewhere around 2003. This seems similar to Jessup's supposed suicide in 1958. It really makes one wonder what will happen to a person who chooses to dig into any history regarding the US government's application of Einstein's Unified Field Theory.
The latter part of the text covers the Nazi Bell experiment and left me wondering why in the world the Nazi's lost the war. Their technological advancements covering the Unified Field Theory seemed to be further ahead of us than we've ever been led to believe.

The Philedelphia Experiment is an area that is rife with disinformation and Dr. Farrell unravels the story as best as I think anyone can. His explanation of the Unified Field theory of Einstein and how it relates to World War II technology is excellent. He perhaps doesn't go quite into depth as he does in his other volumes about the underlying physics and I rather missed that. But still, it was excellent and clear.

A roundup of (and expansion on) his previous theories from "Reich Of The Black Sun" and "The SS Brotherhood of the Bell" books, this book rehashes some of that material and further adds ~some~ info around the "Philadelphia Experiment" to the mix in an attempt to unify these WW2 "experiments" into a kind of Unified Field Conspiracy.
As with his previous books, it's about what you'd expect... some interesting documents, a heavy dose of "what if" presented as probable fact, and a generally fairly entertaining read. Unfortunately, spell-check is still conspicuously missing from the arsenal of secret publishing weapons... but what do you want from this genre anyway? The info. And does it deliver new, compelling, interesting info? I'd say... not enough, really. Much like Botherhood of the Bell, there's a lot of words wrapped around a pretty thin (if intriguing) story. Still, if you really liked those two books, you'll probably like this one. It's a bit pricey for what you get, so if you want to pick one from this author on this subject, stick with the creepier and vastly more entertaining "Reich of the Black Sun".

Not quite what I had expected, a bit hard to follow as well,
This review is from: Secrets of the Unified Field: The Philadelphia Experiment, The Nazi Bell, and the Discarded Theory (Paperback)
Hi, I bought and read the "Secret of the Unified Field" with my usual high interest that goes with such subjects.
Though I know I would myself would probably would not be able to dig that much info, I do however, feel the need to comment in an honest manner that I believe will help improve a few things for the author's later publications. Having read, there were two things that were quite obvious, one being spelling and grammatical errors throughout the book (and I don't mean the Jessup book annotations, which were presented in original form as much as possible). Secondly, I was able to analyse that the book was more of like a writing down and coming to terms with the authors very own comprehension of the accounts and relating whatever he read in his research and other books. Much of the things was clearly unclaimed and sounded like a highly classifed gossip. This book was more about clearing one's own head rather than somewhat of a profound research for others out there, like me, who do not have the time or means to research themselves but do constantly look forward to such written material to satisfy our curiosity and euphoria somewhat. Much of the first chapter had "We'll get there in a moment" but never was it clear where the author was really going. Lot of basic info was incomplete such as the actual explanation of how Kron relates electrical tensor/space-time to UFT etc. I am now thinking whether I should buy the Philosophers Stone and read another "according-to" and or try something else. All in all, its probably good for readers who have never read anything about P.E/N.B but have some physics background. It failed to clearly outline what "actually" the UFT is and how the scientists of then came about to it. The title suggested something a lot more to it. Thanks never the less and all the best.

Not having read anything by the author previously, I was pleasantly surprised at how well he made extremely complex theories, understandable to this layman.
While I don't always subscribe to "conspiracy" theories, the information presented here is enough to make one think differently about what we believe we... "know" to be true. It was a good read, although the editing could have been a bit better.

Connecting the Dots,

This review is from: Secrets of the Unified Field: The Philadelphia Experiment, The Nazi Bell, and the Discarded Theory (Paperback)
This is a book review rather than a synopsis so ill keep it short and sweet! i first came across farrell's name when listening to a coast to coast interview he did with richard hoagland (of dark mission fame) and was so intrigued by the subject matter i ordered his book straight away. i wasn't disappointed. Ostensibly about the Philadelphia Experiment -- in which a U.S. military destroyer is supposed to have achieved optical invisibility during an anti-radar test -- secrets of the unified field is an intoxicating blend of history, secret physics and government cover-ups since the close of WW2. Farrell often describes his methodology as 'speculative history' and yet this does his him a disservice. Farrell has the rigor of an academic, is meticulous with sourcing and yet he manages to engage the reader -- despite the esoteric physics -- with consummate story-telling skills.
I couldn't put it down, and read the book almost in one sitting, much to my wife's chagrin! Without spoiling the book for other readers, Farrell ends with a summary of charges -- that certain governments, agencies and individuals are covering up higher technology and physics advances -- with ramifications for energy, propulsion, weaponry and space exploration -- for their own nefarious ends, and have been doing so since at least the 1940s. While the argument is cogent, I think the author and other writers on this subject need to do more to locate these secret elites and SHOW how they are benefiting NOW (as opposed to amorphous groups linked to the CIA, Nasa, Hitler's Nazis, and organized crime) or else one is left with the conclusion that they bolted for the stars long ago and are sipping cocktails on mars as we speak!

This review is from: Secrets of the Unified Field: The Philadelphia Experiment, The Nazi Bell, and the Discarded Theory (Paperback)
This book connects of Philadelphia experiment, Nazi Bell, Unified Field Theory, Bermuda Triangle and UFO propulsion. Although it doesn't go deep into the physics of Einstein's Unified Field Theory, some familiarity with the concepts would be beneficial to understanding most of this book.
The author shows coincidences, denials by military - a dead giveaway - forgetful witnesses, a suspicious suicide, anonymous disclosures by high-ranking military officials to support his theories. Some Interesting facts that were brought up were: Einstein worked for USN during that time period. There is proof that USS Eldridge and Furuseth had records missing, destroyed by exec order and doctored. Anonymous USN Commander stated that unintended consequences of experiment were interdimensional effects and mass displacement. Carlos Allende's assertions have a solid scientific basis. As for connecting the Nazi Bell to all this, it seems extremely speculative, primarily because the facts are extremely limited. That made this section of the book a little disappointing. I'm still not sure exactly of the purpose of the Nazi Bell. The other problem with this section is that is was hard to understand the physics behind it. I found it confusing.

More Conspiracies from Mr. Farrell
Joseph Farrell knows how to write an interesting conspiracy book. Secrets of the Unified Field is a narrowed continuation of all his previous books in this genre. It is interesting and puts forth some very intriguing suppositions about the "classified" WW2 Philadelphia Experiment, and the extremely secret Nazi Bell prototype experiments. Mr. Farrell also weaves into his narrative his many previous theories which makes for some entertaining reading. He documents to excess, although much of his documentation is from his prior works which hardly justifies some of his theories. He is informative though in his explanation of "The Unified Field" theory. Overall the Secrets of the Unified Field is a continuation of his previous works in this area. I find his discussions on Nazi "wonder weapons" to be pretty much on the mark although I would recommend Nick Cook's The Hunt for Zero Point to be just a bit more insightful. As to his theories concerning the JFK assassination and other conspiracies it all makes for very entertaining, if not a bit suspect, reading. I recommend this book if you are interested in this kind of thing. It is a "Ripley's Believe It or Not" kind of read that will grab you for its pure entertainment value and will probably stimulate a quest for additional information-which might be a little hard to come by. Mr. Farrell is a little more technical in his writing than the old Bermuda Triangle fad of the 1970 or the JFK conspiracy mantra of the `60s but still be weary and if interested seek out additional sources. I personally like to read this kind of thing as a break from more technical work. All in all interesting and in many ways stimulating for future investigation of this type of history mystery.

This review is from: Secrets of the Unified Field: The Philadelphia Experiment, The Nazi Bell, and the Discarded Theory (Paperback)
The first three quarters of this book is about The Philadelphia Experiment and then the rest is about the Nazi Bell project. Farrell sees similarities between these two projects since they were both based on Einstein's Unified Field Theory or similar theories.
Both projects were forged in the crucible of World War II when the governments on both sides created secret think tanks to try to turn theories into reality quickly. However some of the basic concepts were understood even before the war. On the American side many famous scientists including Einstein, Tesla, and Dr. John von Neumann became involved according to the legends. I guess we shouldn't doubt that those people were right about many things and this was proven to be true in real life experiments. I don't understand science and physics myself so I only grasp the end results and possible implications of these scientific endeavors. Farrell thinks the implications are horrendous. He doesn't say exactly where the Nazis were going with their Bell machine but it sounds like it would have been able to create a tear in the fabric of time and space. What exactly would have happened if they had accomplished that I don't know. Perhaps this is what the Atlanteans found out. Farrell finds the statements of Al Bielek and company nauseating. I on the other had have been following Al for many years and I believe what he says. A lot of what Al says matches up with Farrell but Al goes beyond the pure science into what can only be considered the realm of the Satanic. It is for me significant that during the Philadelphia Experiment the sailors on deck reported seeing alien beings. I believe this but why it happened and why they became involved I don't know. Farrell agrees that the Philadelphia Experiment involved the instantaneous teleportation of a Navy ship though space to another location many miles away but during the same time. Al adds however that he himself was on this ship and it was sent 40 years into the future to the Montauk base where they were greeted by an elderly gentleman who introduced himself as Dr. John von Neumann. In any case both of them agree that this experiment became something more than the Navy anticipated. I get the impression that the people in the Navy may not have realized exactly what von Neumann and company were trying to do and this activity took on a life of its own. It seems like the Montauk Project came under the control of nefarious individuals or groups in the private sector for God knows what reasons. I still recommend watching a DVD to get Al Bielek's side of the story. He names real people and places during his lectures and creating a fictitious story with that level of detail and technical knowledge would not be easy to do. However what I said so far is just the tip of the iceberg about what Al Bielek claims to have gone through: The Philadelphia Experiment: Invisibility Time Travel and Mind Control - The Shocking Truth There's a lot of history in this book with the connections between the Philadelphia Experiment, Morris Jessup, and the mysterious Carlos Allende. The Jessup / Allende connection has become part of the lore of the UFO mystery and related subjects. Farrell's books contain a lot pointers to other good books. Jeff Marzano Fulcanelli: Master Alchemist: Le Mystere des Cathedrales, Esoteric Intrepretation of the Hermetic Symbols of The Great Work (Le Mystere Des ... of the Hermetic Symbols of Great Work) The Philosopher's Stone: Alchemy and the Secret Research for Exotic Matter The Hunt for Zero Point: Inside the Classified World of Antigravity Technology Haarp: The Ultimate Weapon of the Conspiracy (Mind-Control Conspiracy) Crash at Corona: The U.S. Military Retrieval and Cover-Up of a UFO Top Secret/Majic: Operation Majestic-12 and the United States Government's UFO Cover-up Secret Life: Firsthand, Documented Accounts of Ufo Abductions Occult Ether Physics:: Tesla's "Ideal Flying Machine" and the Conspiracy to Conceal It Atlantis |
