Hi,
They are a rock band from Puerto Rico. They are the authors from Ricky martin's song Bombon De Azucar. You should buy it!! They have anothers CD's like Aniquila, Bombon de Azucar, Una Noche and the latest Tunel. They are known in Spain and in LAtinamerican countries. If you want to hear different kind of music you should buy it!!!

Before I went to Puerto Rico Latin Rock was not in my vocabulary. That all changed when I went to a place called Sea Breeze and heard these guys play. So far I have 2 CD's and I'm trying to find out how I can get the one they did in concert and the latest one called "Tunel". This group is PHENOMENAL!

La secta is the best rock en español group sin Maná. They are full of spirit and the music, as well as the lyrics, are excellent. You won't find a better group that can incorporate energy and entertainment in one. This cd is jam pack with both. I give it five stars for musical content and precision, also for it's variety and quality.

Siendo fanatico del rock en español, y seguidore del rock puertorriqueño, debo decir que este disco no es malo, sin embargo no es esencial. Tiene muy buenos riffs y ritmos pegajosos, al igual que buenas baladas, pero no logra escapar de lo superficial y lo poco profundo que son las líricas y la música. Si fuera a presentarle a alguien lo esencial del rock puertorriqueño, éste no sería uno de los discos que recomendaría a pesar de que este grupo a causado furor en puerto Rico y en otros países.

Es un grupo que resulta prescindible al lado de otros grupos puertorriqueños como Fiel a la Vega, Cultura Profética, Millo Torres y el Tercer Planeta(por lo menos sus primeros dos discos), Puya, Circo o Manjar de los Dioses y Sol de Menta. Un Disco demasiado comercial para mi gusto.

This CD is surely the establishment of a style of its own for La Secta. The band has matured to a point that any song is easily recognizable as La Secta's.

This is a great CD and they have a new one (called "Tunel") that is even better!!

This cd is spanish rock at its best

The raw energy that this band puts into their proformances is likened to Foghat, Bad Company, and early Led Zepplin. The genre of Rock en Espanol has come into it's own with the help of these early 70's bands. La Secta has a hold of the strings, they have tapped into the engery that hits you in the heart and pumps your blood. Let's just hope that with the success that this and other albums will surly give them, that they don't "SELLOUT". Good Luck Guys
