5.0 out of 5 stars Fantastic Under Appreciated Anatomy Book, February 10, 2012

This review is from: Sectional Anatomy of the Head and Neck With Correlative Diagnostic Imaging (Hardcover)
Simply put, this is a great book. A one of a kind book.I do not understand why this book was not better received or more popular. I used it when I was learning head and neck anatomy as a neurorad fellow and found it indispensable. Superfine detail in 3 planes using a technique that at the time was unique to the U of FL med school to teach anatomy to its students allowing clear distinction among structures which cannot be differentiated on those so common axial sectioned cadavers in other books/web sites. Eg,Where exactly does the spinal accessory nerve diverge from the carotid sheath? Great stuff inside. With finer and finer anatomy visible on CT and MR through the years, this book deserves a reprint for a new generation of "applied anatomists" aka radiologists.
