Perfect board!,
By
This review is from: Sector 9 Bamboo Series "Ours" Longboard Complete Skateboard (Sports)
I've been looking for a board like this for a while and stumbled on this in a skate shop that I was actually just visiting to kill some time. When I saw this, I had to have it. I've always been a fan of this retro shape (flat deck, flat nose, and decent sized kick tail), but have only ever seen it on smaller boards. The board I've always wanted was something in the 36" to 40" range with this exact shape.
Unfortunately, many of the longboards I run into these days are either pin tails or double kicks with overly complicated designs. These designs may be "functional", but in my opinion they always end up looking kind of funny. This board is a definite exception to that trend and is worth every penny. Being a bit shorter than average (5'7") I find this board long enough to have a nice, stable, downhill ride, but short enough to take advantage of the kick tail. The bamboo with the clear grip also adds to the sexy look of this board, plus it's eco friendly! I've been around since Sector 9 first started hitting the shelves in the 90's and this board is a clear example of the innovation coming from this company. If you're looking for a retro look in the 36" range, get this board.

Awesome Board for Me!,
This review is from: Sector 9 Bamboo Series "Ours" Longboard Complete Skateboard (Sports)
I got this sector 9 board at my local skateshop.
I just wanted to let people know this is an awesome board, but watch your weight. If the rider is over 130-ish pounds the board may start clicking. I am about 105 pounds so this board is perfect and wheels, trucks, deck is high quality.
