I saw this vault somewhere, then searched online and bought it as an impulse buy at 2am from Amazon which was the lowest price. All you need is a stud finder and wall to put it in. Cut the drywall in between the wall studs and put in the mounting screws. The picture is easy to change out and the frame looks good. This is not a fireproof safe, just a steel box with a wireless keypad to unlock. The biggest this is people won't know it's there unless you tell them. The vault was ok for the 1st two days, then the door didn't open. It was jammed because the latch on the door that keeps it shut became dislodged. The small ramp lock that is welded to the front sliding door had fallen off and jammed the door shut. After pulling it off the wall and inspecting, was able to get the piece to fall out and the door sprang open. The part should have been welded in all the way around and it was only spot welded in the corner. Might have just been a "friday" assembly. Instead of going thru the trouble of sending it back to get another one, I used JB Weld to put the part back on the door. After letting it dry overnight and putting back up it works great! It's a good size for a wallet, money, two pistols and some jewelery. I like the product design and recommend getting one, especially if you like gadgets.

I was looking for a secure place for my pistols, but didn't want to mess with a floor safe. I knew I wanted a wall safe, but it had to be hidden. I'd found this item on other websites from $400 to $500, so this was a great cost savings. Grabbed one right away, and it was here a week before scheduled delivery. Out of the box, everything was right on. I went to install it the following day, and while it's not rocket science, the instructions are worthless. Throw them away after you learn how to program the remote. Install was a breeze, but it was heavy. I did it on my own, but it wouldn't hurt to have a copilot close by. I removed the door to reverse which way it opened, and this was tough. If you're going to do it, do it BEFORE installation- life will be easier. Another FYI- the screws they sent for mounting stripped way to easy. Grab some lag bolts and a screw gun, done in no time. Operates smoothly, and you can't tell there's a safe there unless you're up close inspecting it. I plan on switching the picture and cheap plexiglass cover eventually, but it does the trick for now. It's not 100% unbeatable, but my kids are safe, and I have quick access if needed. Grab one, I'll probably get another for the basement.

I like the safe and the concept. My only gripes are that it's on the expensive side and the remote control is mediocre.Installation was easy. If you're handy and you take your time, you should be okay. I had it installed in under an hour.
